I was kept in the loop every step of the way. He was very thoughtful about leaving me with some furniture until closing after most of my living room was re purposed, leaving me with only two chairs until closing. He left staging furniture until he needed it and then brought in a couch and table until closing. Having me responsible for the inspections, etc, made it an easy transition at closing. With todays market, putting our two transactions in Marks hands provided us with a lot of knowledge, removing most of the stress we expected. He went through the best methods on showing our house to get the best offers which worked perfectly. At the same time, he was always available for us to view condo?s and townhouses listed on the market and just listed properties as the came on the market, offered us advise on the good and bad of each property we walked through, having to arrange showing times with the sellers agents and owners. Mark had helped me sell my previous residence 4 years earlier and that was a great experience, so calling him again was a no brainer. From the first consultation it is extremely evident Mark has done this many, many times before and knows from experience the right way to go about every aspect of the selling process. No stone was left unturned and he made sure together we executed each major or minor detail the way it needed to be done. He did a very thorough and exhaustive market analysis, leaving no doubt the asking price we landed on was fair and based on the current market. I had to move quickly and therefore was not in-state to coordinate cleaners, inspections, and the electrician after the inspection, he did all of that. He took care of a few other loose ends, and we were under contract within the first week of the listing going live and had a successful closing about 30 days later. ZillowVERIFIED Mark is the kind of guy who could teach real estate. He had his act together and was well informed of all the intricacies that needed to be addressed on each home we viewed. He explained to us his entire background and how he got into real estate and how all of it was relevant to what we were trying to do, which is purchase a home. As someone who tries to be ahead of the curve on everything I encounter, and not having much background with the purchasing aspect of real estate, I was leary of even attempting to start the process but after meeting Mark for the first time I realized I could just let him pilot the process the whole time. You hear about these shady realtors that are just out to close no matter what, well Mark is the polar opposite of this. Granted he was compensated for his time and effort in helping us get into our house, I view more as a friend now more than anything. I ran into him at the local credit union about 4 months after closing and ended up chatting with him for at least an hour in the middle of the parking lot. He is definitely the best person to have on your side and you better hope that the other team doesn't have him, or you will be paying or receiving a lot less than you anticipated.

We worked with him for about six months visiting 25+ properties until we found the right one. Through out the house hunting process, Mark was able to respond and react quickly as it was a difficult buyers market and we would often see houses go on and off the market in just a few days. His knowledge of the area and Vermonts processes is much greater than other realtors. There was no hard selling tactics, no fluff - Mark was always direct, straight to the point and extremely honest - everything we wanted in a realtor. Once we found the right home that we wanted to buy he had incredible negotiating skills and showed great patience as we negotiated for over a month. Eventually, we got what we wanted and Mark made sure that we were 100% satisfied. He went above and beyond to make sure that we were getting what we wanted.
