Mark Mahaffey

Mark is a REALTOR® and Real Estate Broker, and has been licensed since 1986. Early in his career he worked for a major corporation in the I.T. and finance departments. And, over 20 years ago, he started his own entertainment company (which is still operating) that provides services for special events. The combination of these experiences make him uniquely qualified on both a technical and personal level, as he brings knowledge and reliability to the table, but is also enjoyable to work with when looking to buy or sell real estate. In addition to the practical experience of operating his own companies, Mark believes in continuing his career development on a regular basis. His formal education includes earning an MBA at the University of Georgia with a focus on Real Estate and Entrepreneurship. And, more than simply a real estate agent, he has met the requirements necessary through length of time in the business and education along with a state required examination to earn his broker's license. In addition, he has earned the following industry specific designations: Graduate-Realtor Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE). Each of these designations represent many hours of additional classroom attendance, study time and required successful client representation in the real world, all of which mean that his clients can expect a higher level of service than can be found elsewhere. Mark is a big proponent of saving/investing for the future and understands the great value and stability that owning a home can bring to everyone, whether an individual or a family. Mark, his wife and associates do not simply "talk the talk." This is not a "hobby" or part-time occupation for them. They are actively involved with real estate on a daily basis and utilize their experience to benefit their clients, whether those clients are selling a house or purchasing a home for the first-time. And, his reviews speak for themselves. Both buyers and sellers have rated him multiple times over with 5 out of 5 stars. He has been involved with real estate ranging from inexpensive lots to multi-million dollar homes at the lake, which means he has the broad experience to feel comfortable guiding his clients at any price point. When he and his wife are not helping others with their real estate objectives (which is not often!), they enjoy traveling to a variety of destinations that encompass some type of activity...skiing, hiking, etc. And, one of their favorite activities is eating! That's probably why they have to stay active! Mark also enjoys fitting in the occasional round of golf or improving his tennis game when he can attend a local community tennis program.
