The best advice I can give is to always buy a home knowing one day you will sell it. The features you love about the home will most likely be the same features your next buyer will love. On the flip side, features that are not attractive may keep you from selling for top dollar in the future.
You only have one shot at a first impression. Make sure to take your time preparing your home for the market and this will increase your chances to sell faster and for top dollar.

I was 27 and the industry I was in was suffering a recession.
