To say that 2021 is definitively a sellers market is an understatement. I personally know prospective buyers that have been trying to buy a house for well over one year. Multiple rejected offers and failed transactions are rampant. Because of this, I was avoiding purchasing a home even though I have been ready for quite some time. Marisol not only educated me regarding the home buying process, but helped me realize that becoming a home owner, even during these challenging times, was possible. Marisol is extremely responsible, determined, dedicated, and tenacious. She took the time to get to know me and my family and to learn what we were looking for. She then gave me her honest opinion (expectations vs. reality type of thing). She memorized the things that were most important to me when looking for and buying a home. She took the time to call listing agents and found out what their clients (the sellers) were looking for so we could formulate informed offers. She was proactive and persistent. Her friendly personality, hard-work, and promptness got us an offer accepted within a month of actively looking for home. She continued being the same responsive, prompt, punctual, and responsible agent after our offer got accepted. She is always giving me updates. And within a couple of days, we submitted an offer and got it accepted! We couldnt believe it was fast! Our deal was contingent on the sellers moving into a new build, but an unexpected delay with their new home required the sellers to stay in the home much longer. Our Agent acted quickly and devised a plan: we ended up getting two-months rent back, still ended up closing in 30 days, negotiated a higher closing credit, and worked with my lender to use the increased closing credit to buy our interest rate down.
