ZillowVERIFIEDMarilyn was fantastic to work with! We were buying a home while living out of state, and she made the process as easy as possible despite being 10 hours away. We did most of our tours virtually, and she made sure to point out everything we would have noticed in personaEUR"both the good and the badaEUR"so we could get an accurate understanding of each home's condition. We were able to do a few in-person tours with her, and that's when we found our house. Once we were under contract, the process was very smooth. We did encounter one hiccup at the closing table (through absolutely NO fault of Marilyn's), but she quickly found a solution after closing and truly advocated for us and our unique situation. We will absolutely use her again when it's time to sell this house, and we would highly recommend her to any friends or family looking to buy or sell in the Lansing area.

ZillowVERIFIED Marilyn provided fantastic support and guidance during our home search in Lansing. She is extremely knowledgeable of the local market and has impressive expertise and skills across the board. Because we were moving to Lansing from another state, Marilyn needed to coordinate for us remotely many elements of the sale - offer, inspection, closing - and did a great job. Communication with us was excellent. We really appreciate everything you did for us, Marilyn - Thanks so much!

ZillowVERIFIED My first impression of Marilyn was that she was very smart, organized, and aEURoeon top of her game aEURoe. That impression continued throughout our buying and selling process with her. She told me that, she wanted to help my husband and I find a house to buy that we LOVED. And, she did! Our buying process went so well with her, we chose her as our seller agent, too. She walked us through the steps, and took time to answer our questions and support us. She is kind, personable, and very knowledgeable about the current housing market. I have recommended her to family and friends, and will continue to do so! Thank you, Marilyn, for helping us make our dream come true!

ZillowVERIFIED Marilyn is absolutely amazing as a realtor. We're out of state buyers, completely unfamiliar with the area, and she made everything absolutely smooth for us. She went above and beyond for us with everything from working with the seller, putting together a solid offer, and even letting us use her guest room and home for several days while we transitioned. A glowing review is not thanks enough for how well Marilyn went to bat for us with this home purchase. I can't recommend her enough.

ZillowVERIFIED We had 60 days to find a home and close due to our lease running out. Marilyn found properties for us to look at everyday until we found our home, she also worked with our lender to make the closing happen in time. Great job helping us find a home within our budget, on a very big time crunch!! Thank you for everything Marilyn...

ZillowVERIFIED Marilyn was a pleasure to work with on the process of buying a home - I would highly recommend! I moved to the area as part of a relocation with my company and Marilyn was a great resource of local knowledge. She quickly picked up on the type of home I was looking for and did a great job of packing several showings in to the short time I had to house hunt. I even ran into an issue with getting some of the sellers items out of the home after closing and she saw everything through until the situation was settled! She had great communication throughout the entire process and made the whole process run smoothly.

ZillowVERIFIED I can't come up with a single complaint, and I'm quite good at complaining. She had an eye for details that I hadn't even thought to look at, a pleasant and friendly demeanor, was either always available or able to get back to me very quickly, and had a very good understanding of the entire process. I was impressed by both her skill and character.

ZillowVERIFIED Marilyn was very responsive to requests and in conversations. She was almost always available if you texted her, and even in our first appointment, where I hadn't even met with her yet, but she was willing to work with me and make a last minute appointment to meet. She definitely kept my needs (and my family's) in mind when helping me select a house and was very comfortable with Astor, even inviting him to the closing process and keeping in mind that he might like a coloring box. There were a few things about the process she was unsure about but always knew how to get the answer, and I could really tell she was giving her interactions with me and my family her all. She was a very open and warm person to work with and I honestly enjoyed working with her.

ZillowVERIFIED The reason I am writing this testimonial is to let people know how great it was to work with Marilyn for the purchase of my first home. From my time serving in the United State Army and fighting in Operation Iraqi Freedom, there is one word that we often use to describe people like Marilyn - Professional! What that means in the military is much more than what we normally think that word means in the civilian world. It is the highest compliment, because you know that a professional keeps the mission first and is willing to make personal sacrifices to ensure that the job gets done. Throughout the entire process of looking to buy my first home, I counted on Marilyn for honest advice and good recommendations about Lansing and the surrounding area. Marilyn Jackson, is the consummate professional, and I would recommend her to anyone buying or selling in the Lansing market.

ZillowVERIFIED Marilyn was very patient and helpful from start to close. She was very accommodating while I looked at many houses as I honed in on my wants and needs. Throughout the process she provided me tons of info to clarify questions or concerns that I had. Marilyn seemed genuinely concerned that I find a home that I would gladly call my own. As a first time home buyer the process seemed daunting but she guided me through it with ease. Marilyn was the best part of the process, aside from getting a house that I love.

ZillowVERIFIED I contacted Marilyn through the internet from several selections and filled out a brief summary of my interests. She responded back with personal emails and put me on an alert list of new properties for sale that fit my criteria. We met twice to further determine the properties I would be interested in. As I notified her of properties I wanted to actually look inside, she would make an appointment to visit the house within a few days (good realtors are always busy) and was always on time. Once I picked a house, Marilyn made sure all the paperwork was ready to sign and we closed in a few weeks (I paid cash). She even negotiated a discount on the list price of just over 15% (again, I paid cash, in full). You won't be disappointed!

ZillowVERIFIED My husband and I were introduced to Marilyn through a coworker of mine. I contacted her in the afternoon about purchasing a home local to Lansing and by the next morning, I began receiving emails of listings that fit our criteria. She made note of every home we were interested in and starter right away at getting us viewings of each of them. Within a matter of a week we were on the hunt for our first home. We found Marilyn to be very polite, professional, and knowledgeable of the area what to look for in a new home. With us being first time home buyers, she definitely made the daunting task seem less stressful and more fun and easy going. She was there for every email, phone call and text message. If she was not going to be unavailable at any time, which was maybe once or twice, she notified us ahead of time. She was flexible to our schedules and very accommodating to all of our many questions and comments about the homes we saw and wanted to see. It was comforting to know we were in good hands. We will highly recommend Marilyn to any and all family and friends looking to buy their next home. Her professionalism and friendly demeanor are top notch and we very much enjoyed working with her. We were so happy to find our first home in less time than we had thought it could take. We wish Marilyn all the best in her very promising career as a realtor.

ZillowVERIFIED Before I meet her, I looked through the internet about buying houses since I am not familiar with the process at all. With her assistance, I saved a lot of time on the fuzzy stuff and was able to focus on house selection. Her reply was usually really quick with additional house information. Overall, it was a pleasure experience with the help of her. Pretty impressive.
