About Maria Torres

I have been selling real estate since 2015. I am a proud member of Iowa Realty's Presidents Club and DMAAR's Circle of Excellence. I sold over 50 homes in 2021. My experience includes relocation, new construction, resale and investment properties. I am grateful for the opportunity to help so many people during their journey of home ownership. I am an Iowa native and Iowa State graduate. I am passionate about everything our city has to offer. I am on the board of the Des Moines Westside Chamber and a local animal rescue organization, The Pet Project Midwest. I love gardening, travel, baking, and attending live music with my husband- especially outdoors. My husband and I have two dogs, a rescue bulldog named Rae and our 'eldest' is Francis the pug.

We worked with Maria recently to buy a home in Waukee and had a great experience! She jumped right into working for us for houses to view and listening to our wants/needs in a home. From the very first home viewing, we knew that Maria was knowledgeable, trustworthy and a hard worker. We had such a positive experience with Maria. She followed us all the way thru this process. We weren't easy to deal with, being young and pretty clueless with what were doing, but she made sure we were taken care of start to finish. I have highly recommended her to some of my co-workers! We looked at a few house with her, and she would tell us the negatives, knowing we had a two year old that was going to be living to make sure we would be okay.
