We came in from out of state to look for a house because we wanted to move to the Houston area, and we found Maria through one of her companys advertisements. She met with us, took down our criteria, explained the process and then proceeded to find the best home to meet our needs. Because we are not from the area, Maria took us around and showed us different areas and what they offered. We told her we wanted an area that offered reasonable housing prices and a good health and hospital system and she told us about and showed us Katy, TX. Which we settled in. Maria and her company also offer some guarantees that we liked and made us feel better knowing we had them, like their Satisfaction Guarantee, Communication Guarantee, and Cancelation Guarantee. ZillowVERIFIED Maria did such an awesome Job. I am a recent college graduate and didn't think I would be able to buy a house. I was under the assumption that I needed a 2 year work history. But if you are a recent college grad with a good job and great credit score it is possible! I looked for about 4 months trying to find the perfect place but kept getting out bid. She never got tired with trying to help me find a place. And even when I started to feel defeated Maria kept assuring me I would find something and it would all work out in my favor. She gave great advice through out the whole process as well. I could not have done it without her. Even after I closed she was still very responsive and helpful for any issues that arose. ZillowVERIFIED Maria is absolutely fantastic and is quite possibly the nicest and most helpful, down-to-earth real estate agent I've ever met.As a first-time homebuyer of 22 years, I was not taken seriously by multiple real estate agents. That, and there are plenty of jerks out there. Maria is completely unlike the other agents I met with, and amazed me with her willingness to meet at any time, her knowledge of properties and trends in the Houston market, and her ability to help connect me to the right people to get a deal done. I am planning on asking Maria for help again to find investment properties, and I know she will deliver!My specific deal was extremely tough and the timeline was extremely short. Maria made it happen. Not only that, but I almost lost $5,000 to the seller / builder based on a minute detail in the contract, but Maria was able to help negotiate with them so I never had to deal with the problem. She also helped me coordinate inspections, visits with the builder, conversations with the loan agents, etc., that I did not have the time or energy to do as a full-time student, and then after graduation as a new employee in investment banking.I could obviously go on and on here, but feel free to contact Maria and ask for me as a reference. ZillowVERIFIED As I purchased my first investment property out of state, I would say that I was lucky to work with Maria. I previously worked with 2 real estate agents before her that didn't pay me much attention nor seem helpful, so I moved on. I am glad to have stumbled across her profile on Zillow. There are 2 characteristics that proved to me she was the perfect agent to work with. First was her looking out for my best interest. I knew a bit about the Houston market before I began searching for homes, but didn't know much when it came to renting out the property. She assisted me in offering a fair price if she felt the property wasn't worth the asking price, she offered advice when it came to fixing up the property before showing, she gave me a second opinion when I was quoted for repairs needed, and the list can go on. Since I was only able to view homes by shopping online, she offered to drive out to properties I was interested in to check them out. By looking out for my best interest, she earned my trust (which is the second characteristic that I value). It is not easy to trust someone you've never met in person, especially when it comes to purchasing a home out of state. After the offer was accepted, I needed to submit earnest and option funds asap to someone I've only spoken to over the phone. Adding on, the home needed appliances so she shopped around to get me a great deal on a refrigerator, washer, and dryer. She sent me pictures for my viewing, but overall I trusted her judgement when it came to quality of the items. The same thing can be said when it came to preparing the property for tenants to view. After ordering a home inspection, I trusted her judgement on what needed immediate attention. Maria also assisted me in marketing the property for rent. She guided me through the process and we were able to get a tenant moved in after about a week or 2. She handled the screening process and made it easy for me. Overall, it seems as if a lot of people look to work with real estate agents whom have the most knowledge, or whom have been in the business for a number of years. While that sounds like the ideal real estate agent to work with, I feel as if working with someone you can easily trust and someone who will look out for your best interest is much more valuable. Actually, it is invaluable as you will not find that among most real estate agents. Maria helped me purchase my first investment property in Houston and I look forward to working with her again soon to purchase additional properties. I would easily recommend her.
