1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?

2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
My best advice is to start with preparation and pricing. Make your home shine—declutter, freshen up paint, and handle minor repairs. Then, work with a trusted agent who understands your local market to price it right from the start. The right presentation and marketing plan can make all the difference in getting top dollar quickly!
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
I’ve had the privilege of helping a wide variety of clients with different goals and life transitions — from first-time homebuyers taking their exciting first step into homeownership, to divorcing couples navigating a sale, and families handling estates after the loss of a loved one. I also work with downsizers ready for simpler living, growing families looking for more space, buyers seeking land to build their dream home, and those wanting to purchase and operate farms or rural properties. Every situation is unique, and I take pride in guiding each client with care, experience, and understanding.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
Featured Transaction: Welcoming a New Physician to Our Community
One of my favorite recent transactions was helping a new physician and her family relocate to our community. We started by giving them a personal tour of the area so they could truly see what makes our hometown special and how it could be the right fit for their family. After that visit, she accepted her job offer—and we began the exciting process of finding their new home.
Since they lived and worked out of state, we managed everything virtually except for the initial showings were in person. The inspections to negotiations and closing were all virtual. Within just 30 days of finding “the one,” we successfully closed on their new home! They’ll be moving in soon to start their next chapter, and we’re thrilled to have played a small part in welcoming them to our wonderful community.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
I began my real estate career in 1986 when I was hired as an administrative assistant for Coldwell Banker. That same year, I earned my real estate license because I wanted to truly understand the business from every angle. For seven years, I worked as the office administrator—learning the ins and outs, the do’s and don’ts, and gaining invaluable knowledge from the many agents I supported—while selling real estate part-time. In 1993, I made the leap to full-time sales, and I’ve never looked back. It was the best decision I ever made and marked the start of a lifelong passion for helping people achieve their real estate goals.
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
With nearly four decades of experience in real estate, I’ve gained extensive training and education in every aspect of the industry—from residential sales and new construction to farms, estates, and land transactions. Over the years, I’ve earned numerous professional designations and completed advanced courses focused on negotiation, pricing strategy, marketing, and client representation, all designed to ensure my clients receive the highest level of expertise and service.
My 39 years in the business have taught me that every client deserves the same level of care, ethics, and professionalism, no matter the price point.
