Review I was referred to Margo Bohlin by a top agent in Orange County. She spoke very highly of Margo explaining that she is a 5-star professional and that her testimonials are amazing. She said that she has known Margo for 30 years. I did my own online research and soon found out that this was true. That said, I truly believe from the bottom of my heart- we would have never been given the opportunity to purchase our own home if it were not for Margo. The reasons for this are mixed and many. My husband and I are first time home buyers. We had no clue what to expect or how to navigate this process. Quite naturally, its a very anxiety producing situation. The market, the market, the market. A low inventory market in a high demand area, the odds were undoubtedly stacked against us. Margo was able to advocate for us in a way I have never seen before. Review I am an 82 year old recent widower who reluctantly concluded a few months ago, that for several reasons,I should sell my house in which I had lived for 52 years to pursue a smaller dwelling - A A very A difficult decision for me. I had several friends living in a nearby condominium/townhouse development, The Harbors at Haverstraw, who reminded me they loved living there for many years and suggested that I really should consider moving there myself. I checked out the Harbors website and saw a few condo listings and noted the realtor name: A The aEURoeone and onlyaEUR? MARGO BOHLIN, the #1 rated realtor in Rockland County, what luck ! I immediately called Margo and we had a great chat during which she shared that she was living there herself and felt the environment and amenities would be a great match for me. In brief, with Margos help, I selected a condo, made an offer that was quickly accepted and Margo took the lead to set up all the transactions, events, etc that lead to a very smooth and successful closing six weeks later. Since all the above had happened with such relative ease, I implored Margo to help me with the next step - sell my house. My mind had conjured up terrible images of turmoil, disruption, uncertainty, etc with selling and I knew I needed a first rate realtor to help me navigate the emotional worries I felt were ahead. Margo showed up at my house next day for a tour and confidently told me 1) my house would sell quickly despite the prevailing high interest rates, 2) I did not have to do a thing to get my house ready for market - she liked it just as it was and 3) her recommended listing price was way higher than what I had projected. That said, buying and/or selling your home is to an even greater degree, a very personal, and emotional decision. Recognizing this is just one area in which Margo excels. After the holidays, I made the very difficult decision to sell my home, which I loved. Without a second thought, a call to Margo was the first call that I made. Review After moving my parents to an Assisted Living facility in CT, I was responsible for cleaning out and selling their home of the past 47+ years. As I live in CT, it was very important to have a Realtor I could trust to oversee the process as if it were her own childhood home. My sister and her husband had used Margo to purchase their home in New City, and suggested I call her. When I did some online research, I saw that Margo is a top realtor in the area and to be honest, this made me a little nervous that she might be one of those realtors who signs the contract but then disappears after delegating our listing to staff. But as soon as I met Margo, I knew she would be a great fit -- she was everything I hoped for... professional, meticulous, direct, honest, confident and no-nonsense. The photographer she uses took beautiful photos and we priced just right to generate lots of activity and get a quick sale for over-asking (I think there were six offers after one week on market). 95% of my interactions were with Margo but when I did speak with members of her team, they were professional and knowledgeable. The attorney Margo recommended (Maureen Moran) was equally responsive and efficient. Even managing from out of state, I can say this was one of the smoothest real estate transactions I've been a part of -- and there have been six. Review We contacted Margo as the listed agent from a real estate marketplace website on a house we wanted to see a house in Rockland County. From that first house, we worked with Margo and her Real Estate Salesperson, Stephanie Markham, for about a year, looking at almost 50 properties.
