ZillowVERIFIED I selected Margaret to be my agent based on reviews I had read, and I was not disappointed. She went right to work and performed many tasks to get the house sold. She sold it in a week for our asking price. This price was one I was not sure we would get, but I was really pleased to say the least. I would recommend her to anyone in the Morehead City market. She went above and beyond.

ZillowVERIFIED Margaret is such a pleasure to work with. Her experience with the area and expertise in evaluating the appropriate listing price gained us a lot of value. She had some of the most amazing photos that greatly illustrated the value of the property and the area. Margaret is so responsive and easy to talk with as you try to make the right decisions. Thank you Margaret!

ZillowVERIFIED Hitchcock Realty & Associates was great to work with. Our agent Margaret was on top of everything. She returned calls promptly, found out answers to our questions quickly. And most important, she didn't hover over us or pressure us. She listened and gave thoughtful answers.

ZillowVERIFIED I am not one to write online reviews but, in this case, I fell compelled to make an exception. After Hurricane Florence here on the NC Coast, my former (rental) home had to be gutted and the prospects of finding a new home (or even storage for my belongings, because of the unique circumstances of the hurricane devastation) were dismal according to other agents. Nevertheless (this is a true story !), one call to Margaret Hitchcock allowed me (through her efforts) to purchase a new home within a matter of hours of its listing and her follow up services were amazing (she handled everything incredibly efficiently and with minimal cost for me). Within 30 days I was relocated in my new home (delighted with it) and ... well, what else can I say ... truly amazing. I really can't say any more than that. Highly recommended is putting it lightly !

ZillowVERIFIED Margaret was an amazing real estate agent. She was very helpful during every step of the sale. This was a breath of fresh air after our experience trying to sell our house with a different realtor who seemed to just sit back and wait for the house to sell itself. She took excellent photos and even made a video of the house to increase interest online. There was absolutely no issue that Margaret was not ready to help with. We were living hundreds of miles away during the time that she represented us, and it was completely stress free. If something needed to be done, she took care of it-being present for appointments and all. Bottom line, Margaret was amazing and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

ZillowVERIFIED We are pleased to recommend Margaret Hitchcock as a knowledgeable and dependable Real Estate Agent. She recently sold our home on the North Carolina coast in Morehead City. We could not be happier with the service she provided. She provided excellent listing information and pictures, gave great selling techniques and kept in constant communication during the sale. Top it off with a wonderful personality and she has the whole package!

ZillowVERIFIED Margaret is AMAZING, with a big heart and a bigger smile! She truly cares about her clients and her customers. She took our inquiry to search for a vacation home seriously; others did not. She listened carefully to what we were looking for and arranged to show us several homes that were appropriate, including one that we had discovered while searching on our own. It was during that first meeting with Margaret when we found our dream home and put in an offer which was later accepted. As out-of-town buyers, it was difficult for us to get to the property for some of the inspections. Margaret was gracious enough to take time from her busy day to be there when we couldnt. Even after we moved in, if we needed referrals for local contractors or advise about the area, Margaret was always ready and willing to help. I would definitely use Margaret Hitchcock again.

ZillowVERIFIED Margaret was able to do what 3 other realtors couldn't: sell my house. She was honest and really gave me confidence that the house would sell. This was a difficult property to maintain since we were 3,000 miles away. I am very grateful for her honesty and integrity.

ZillowVERIFIED Margaret Hitchcock is truly a professional and supportive Realtor. We had many challenges selling our condo. We went into contract three times; the first two unsuccessful! Throughout the process, Margaret helped us remain positive and supported us through the third contract, which was successful. We would recommend Margaret Hitchcock without any reservation.

ZillowVERIFIED After dealing with multiple brokers in Carteret County as private real estate investors, we believe that Margaret is the GO-TO agent for any type of transaction. We have NO complaints at all and she has weathered many "storms" as we sold two properties through her agency. Her enthusiasm might be a bit overwhelming to some soft spoken Southerners but we promise that after you work with her, you will be HAPPY!
