ZillowVERIFIED I recently worked with Margaret on the sale of my co-op in Bay Ridge. She was the second broker I used for the listing, so I have good comparison points between the two of them. I am so thankful that I found her. Given a lack of interest in my apartment with my first listing, we priced the unit competitively. Within two weeks, (during a snow storm!) I had multiple offers and phone calls to see the unit. I had a signed contract within a month of listing. At this point, I realized that the apartment may not have been the problem. What Ive learned during the process, is that good brokers are not common, and that they can really make a long and frustrating process A LOT better. Not only is Margaret experienced (she probably has seen it all..) but she is also well regarded. Other brokers will bring buyers to her because she has a reputation for solving problems and closing deals. Margaret was no nonsense when I first met her, not super cheerful like how a salesperson should be, but over the last 5 months, I found her to be a wonderful and kind woman. More importantly, she has looked out for my interests, gave me her honest opinions and even went the extra mile providing advice and reviewing the buyers board application. I came across Margaret after seeing that she had recently sold a unit next to mine, and I'm really glad I chose her. Her knowledge of the co-op and its management was a huge advantage throughout the process. She guided the buyer through the co-op application and stayed on top of all the follow-ups, which made everything move smoothly. We were able to close in about 3 months after signing the contract, which is very fast for a co-op (typically it can take 4 months or more). During the process, she also helped me evaluate buyers carefully and gave great advice on selecting the right applicant. Overall, Margaret made what could have been a stressful process much more efficient and manageable. I would definitely recommend her to anyone selling in a co-op building or house.

ZillowVERIFIED I had no previous experience buying a home, and Margaret guided me through the long and oft-frustrating process from start to finish so that I never felt alone. She got in touch with me the same day I reached out online via StreetEasy and arranged an apartment viewing on very short notice and helped me with my mortgage pre-approval so I could make an offer on the apartment. After my offer was accepted, she put me in contact with various individuals at banks and mortgage companies so I could get quotes. As I was completely new to this, this was incredibly helpful and helped make the process less overwhelming and I was happy to have referrals I could put my trust in. She also referred me to an attorney who did a great job and who gave me a special price through her. Margaret also put together my co-op board package, something that is very time-consuming (especially in my case) and needs to be done exactly right, and delivered it to the management company herself. She was always available to talk about the process and offer advice, and was always very responsive no matter what time of day or night. She was always calm and pleasant to chat with and not pushy in the least--no sales pitch. Her gift upon closing was a personal touch that was much appreciated and even after the closing she gave me her time and put me in contact with contractors, flooring people, etc. I highly recommend Margaret and would definitely use her again in the future.

We assumed it would take months to find the right buyers, but she was confident she could sell the place and got us from listing to closing in about 3 1/2 months. ZillowVERIFIED Margaret helped us buy our apartment and then 5 years later we worked with her again to sell it. This time, it was in the middle of the pandemic, and a very obvious buyer?s market. Nevertheless, she used her experience, market knowledge and resources her office provided (e.g. 3D walkthrough was super helpful) to price the apartment at just the right level, managing to maximize what we got for it while allowing the sale to happen quickly (it went into contract in just a couple of weeks). We were away for the duration of the entire transaction, and Margaret managed every aspect of the sale remotely, including preparations, all showings, post-sale visits, inspections, some post-inspection repair work, etc. All along, she kept us up to date. She most definitely earned her commission and we were happy to have her on our side.
