Mara gently got to believe I had to do a few things at modest cost as well as declutter the house so a potential buyer could see how he/she could make this house their own. There were two open houses, and the sale was made a few weeks later. Now I needed a place to live. Mara was very patient and showed me several places that came close to what I told her I wanted.
