Q: 4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?

I received a call a few months ago from a young couple who found me on the web. They were interested in interviewing me to list their home. I viewed the home, and met with the couple who hired me on the spot. The house was precious, but I gave them a little staging advice (which the took), and the house sold in 24 hours with multiple offers. They were realistic with regard to pricing and the house sold over list price. A delightful couple to work with!

Q: 5. How did you get started in Real Estate?

After a 20 yr. retail banking career, I thought I would give it a shot. I have always enjoyed working with people, and love what I do now more than anything I have ever done!

Q: 6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?

My degree in marketing certainly helps as well as my 20 yr. retail banking career, and Certification in Home Staging.

We contacted Lynnette about selling our home and she met with us the next day, she helped us determine a price and gave us great suggestions for staging our home for showing. She listed our house and conducted an agent open house. We were in constant contact via text and email and she kept us appraised of the market activity every week. She walked us through several counter offers and also connected us with excellent local contractors for work that we needed after inspection and we closed 10 weeks after we listed.

My husband is in the military, and we chose to offer our house in Covington for rent. This was the first house we had owned and were clueless as to the process. We were referred to Lynnette by a friend's mother who is a realtor in Kenner.Our experience with her was excellent. She provided us information on other local listings to help us understand how the rental market was performing and to get an idea on what a fair monthly rent amount would be. She was very diplomatic when she told us our house needed some work in order to improve the chances of finding a renter. She even provided impartial opinions when my husband couldn't agree on something (i.e: leave the curtains up or take them down, paint a room back to a neutral color or not).The only hiccup that detracted from the experience was a conflict of schedules in the beginning when we were ready to proceed with the listing. But, that was more our paranoia/panic about the short amount of time that we had to find a renter. In hindsight, deciding to proceed with the listing just before Memorial Day weekend probably wasn't the best timing. :) Other than that, Lynnette was awesome about working around our schedules and would respond to emails almost immediately. In the end, my husband and I were convinced that Lynnette was our good luck charm. We ended up selling the house through a Bond for Deed. She walked us through that process (again, we were clueless) acted as go-between for us (we had already moved out of state), the buyers, and the escrow company. She was patient with our questions, informative, helpful and optimistic every time we communicated.

We first met Ms. Boudet when we viewed a home she had listed. She was quite congenial and informative yet never once did we ever feel any "sales pressure". That home was not was not suitable but latter that month we saw another listing by a different agent and, because of our pleasant experience, decided to ask Ms. Boudet to show us that home. It was the right decision. She did her homework, was quick to respond to our calls, got the answers we needed, even updated us when we were out of town. She was wonderful during the negotiation process - knowledgeable, detailed, unabashed, and always in our corner.
