About Luke Smith

Luke grew up in the beautiful County of Bath, nestled away in the Allegheny Highlands, before moving to the Shenandoah Valley to attend James Madison University. After graduating from JMU in 2011, Luke moved to Austin, Texas and began working with a startup technology company. In 2012, he transitioned to the legal industry and moved to Los Angeles, California. In early 2014, Luke made the decision to leave the San Fernando Valley and return to the Shenandoah Valley. He quickly earned his real estate license and has since been busy leveraging his diverse skill set and experiences to provide top caliber service to his buyer and seller clients. Luke is a member of the Shenandoah Valley Builders Association and serves on the Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance Resources Committee, Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance Promotions Committee, and is a founding member of Young Friends of Downtown. Luke and his wife, Justine, live in downtown Harrisonburg with their dog, Duke . In his free time, Luke enjoys running and hiking with Justine and Duke, camping, spending time with family, traveling, attending local music festivals, and all things related to JMU and downtown Harrisonburg.

I highly recommend using Luke Smith for your real estate needs. My husband and I have dealt with Luke for the past five years in three different transactions and would not choose anyone else. Not only is he very competent at what he does, he loves dealing in real estate, and you can tell. Luke helped us sell our investment property this past summer. He is great to work with, responsive, and takes into account your questions and concerns when providing feedback. In our case, he provided great advice that netted top dollar for the property and he worked really hard to get things listed to meet our deadlines. He also provided great advice on improvements/repairs in order to get the property ready to sell. These improvement really minimized expense and maximized return on our investment. We rely on Luke to help us find answers to issues related to the real estate market and I would recommend him to anyone who is in need of a realtor.
