We started with an agent who didnt fit our home buying needs. The market was tough and we had several disappointments that pushed us closer to giving up on buying a home. Thankfully, our family recommended we contact Lori to see if she could help. She got right down to business, wrote down what we wanted/needed and started sending us listings of homes in our area. ZillowVERIFIED Well...I have waited about a year now to write this bc I wanted both houses done and sold first. When I first wanted to list my home at 921 Gary Avenue in Clairton I called Lori in late Nov early Dec 2017. I was absolutely disgusted with her attitude over the phone. I realize I was selling a home in a low value area however she specializes in this town and I expected her to be willing to work to get me the best sales price possible. When I told her I wanted to list at 99K she basically told me I was crazy and that I should expect 30K less than that. I thought I made clear to her in that first call that I was not hiring her. She called me a few times that same week and didn't seem to get it until I was as blunt as possible that I wanted her to have nothing to do with my home and would not be listing with her. In the end we sold the house for 95K....tens of thousands higher than she told me I could sell it for...oh...and we had multiple offers for that and higher over the few months it took to find the right buyer who could get a mortgage and get the appraisal to come in at the sales price. Her attitude cost her the listing. She was rude, arrogant, belittling and unhelpful when I tried to offer her the listing. So thankful to have sold our homes without her involvement as an agent for any parties.

ZillowVERIFIED I hate leaving bad reviews but given the fact that I used zillow reviews to select Lori, I felt compelled to warn others. Lori is neither a bad person nor a bad agent. She is just incredibly difficult to work with. When we ran into issues, she was so focused on the problem (whos to blame, what happened) that she rarely gave useful solutions. The sale took longer than we wanted, which isnt fully in her control but her lack of proactivity and flat out defensiveness made the sale process miserable. As a secondary point, she knows the industry but struggles with technology. The desire to help her clients is there but she needs to be less defensive and more solutions focused to be a good agent.
