As a professional, fellow mother and friend, I expected Lori would do a good job; but instead she did an extraordinary job and I am beyond satisfied with her work. I am grateful. Going through a major transition in life can be tough. Its emotional - both terrifying and exciting. When I began looking for a new home, I narrowed my search to one particular neighborhood in town. And because I was selling a larger, newer home and downsizing, I struggled to find a home I liked nearly as much or which I thought would check all the boxes. But Lori was patient with me and took time (and I mean a great deal of timeaEUR| personal timeaEUR| away from her own familyaEUR|including on weekends and during vacation) to educate me on the fine details of this decision and talk to me through all of the important considerations for both me and my children. She did this with confidence and sensitivity, taking time to understand my situation and what matters most to me - as a professional, mother and woman. She was always patient and responsive to my texts with questions that popped into my head in the tiny pockets of space that a working mother has during the day. Her knowledge and support gave me confidence in my decision and took what could have been a sad and stressful experience and made it fun and exciting. Instead of feeling afraid, I felt strong and proud to be able to do this for my children all by myself. Over the weekend we finally went under contract, I know she spent countless hours on the phone with me and the sellers, who were also at a difficult crossroads in their lives and anxious about selling their family home after 37 years! It was an emotional endeavor and Lori did amazing work, all the while sacrificing time away from her own family to help us all come to a fair agreement. And then began the hard work of getting our marital home on the market at just the right time so that we could be careful to move during the summer months and protect my small children from the upheaval of a move during the school year. She took time to meet with us individually and make sure we were both comfortable with the process. She gave us good advice on setting the list price and made a plan for an open house the weekend after the home would hit the market.
