Review We sold and purchased a house earlier this year and if it had not been for Marilyn's tenacity, constant communication with us, the other buyer's agent, and loan company the deal would have most assuredly fell through. However, because of Marilyn's diligence and hard work we were able to get our old house sold and the new house bought. She was very easy to work with, met a couple of times so we could see the house, and went above and beyond during the whole process. She offered recommendations for inspectors and we chose who we would use. We did choose one of her recommended companies and they did a great job! We felt in control and in the loop through the whole process. We felt no pressure by Marilyn and know that she absolutely had our best interest at heart during the process. Would definitely use Marilyn again for any future real estate transactions. Thanks to Marilyn we have the home of our dreams and couldn't ask for anything more.

We were true first time home buyers. My fiance' is not well and cannot work due to seizures resulting from a brain injury. Her injuries, medical debts and the resulting depression not only devastated her credit and finances but also prevent her from working, driving.or living alone in any practicable manner. In January 2017, a new management company for the apartment I was renting, informed us that my fiance' could no longer live with me. This was contrary to the agreement that I had with the previous management company. We were given 4 days for her to vacate the property. In November of 2015, I had lost my position. That fact, and her expenses, caused severe damage to my own credit. We were facing a grim situation. With no ability to rent together and poor credit, I had to maintain my apartment and put her in a hotel until we could find an affordable room to rent. She ended up renting a small room in a bad neighborhood between February and August. Meanwhile, I was busy repairing my credit and researching every option I could think of. By September, my credit was repaired enough to consider a mortgage. Honestly, I was looking to enter the market in the spring of 2018. However, something kept pushing me to move forward sooner. To sum it up, we decided to enter the market in October of 2017. I was worried that there would be really low inventory but, that maybe the available inventory would include motivated sellers. We shared our wants and needs with Lora and picked 13 candidates to visit. The best thing was, she really listened to our story and paid close attention to what we wanted and to our budget. In the end, we made an offer on a house in a beautiful neighborhood. The house had just come on the market from, you guessed it, a motivated seller that had to relocate. The house was essentially our dream home. Lora and her team, as well as our lender, guided us flawlessly through every step of the buying process. We closed on December 1st, 2017. I have been able to come home every night since that day with the peace of mind that she and I are safe. She is in therapy and making great progress while we transform our house into a home. I am providing you this story because sometimes fairy tales are not just tales. I know that our year long journey was not by accident and not just because we worked hard. We did work hard. But, all of this is a blessing we received that frankly, was just the stuff of dreams for us. Lora came into the story because, I received a call one day from her at just the time that we were getting frustrated with the listings being sent to us from our first realtor. It seemed like most of the listings were either lower or higher than our target budget and didn't meet our needs and wants at all. Lora got to work and began sending us listings that were good candidates at the perfect moment in time. So please, thank Lora again for us and give her 5 stars. She is part of our blessing and if she had not come into the story at just the right time this true story might have never been more than a fairy tale afterall.

We had such a great experience purchasing my fiancA(C) and I Indiana retirement home, we decided to have Lora list our existing home. However, we told her we wanted to try for sale by owner first and she supported that, gave advice and there was no pressure for us to list with Indy Homes Realty. Her experience was evident as Lora was very knowledgeable in all area's of our deals, the area market, real estate and finance. We text on a regular bases continually evaluating the strategy buying and selling our homes. Very responsive to our needs and concerns and provided great advice on negotiating our deals!
