Before choosing a real estate agent, we conducted a lot of research to see who would be the best choice based on the investment they make into selling the property (time and effort, not necessarily financially) and how they promote their listings. Lonnie Branson stood out as the best Cass County has to offer: their social media presence was strong, and we could tell they put a lot of work into their listings. We spoke with Lonnie and then met with him at our home. He spent hours answering our questions, providing objective data regarding how many homes they sell, how long their listings typically stay on the market, and providing info on comps in the area. We were concerned that our house, which was located in a rural area and also very unique for the area would be tough to sell. Lonnie made the process incredibly easy and took extra steps many other Realtors dont (but should), like giving us staging tips, having professional photographs taken, and a lot more. When we saw our listing we were blown away. His hard work and knowledge of what it takes to sell a home really paid off - our listing looked amazing and knocked out the competition. We sold our home several months later Lonnie (and Amber who was also incredibly helpful) walked us through every step of the closing process. When it came time to negotiate the offer, with Lonnie?s expertise and guidance, we were able to get more on our offer. Without him we would have lost several thousand dollars. Lonnie and his team took care of everything to include taking the time to develop a strong relationship with the tenant who occupied the house. Their efforts with the tenant made showing the house a lot easier. They found the right buyer within weeks while juggling the leasing terms with our tenant and our house was sold with very little work on our part! They did a fantastic job! As a side note, and its probably not their primary focus, but the Branson team served as our property manager for 4 years while we lived out of state. Again, they took care of literally everything for us!
