First step when deciding to buy a home is to get pre-approved by a Mortgage Lender. They will review your financials, and let you know how much you need to put down and what your maximum purchase price to buy. Not sure who to contact, ask an Avenue3 Realtor and they can give you referrals. During this time, connect with a top realtor to discuss what neighborhoods and property aspects you want so that they can get you started with your property search once you have the green light from your Mortgage Lender.

Take time to interview Realtors prior to signing a contract with one. Ensure that they have the experience, knowledge and resources. You want a realtor who will help educate you on the market you are selling in, advise on what repairs/renovations are needed to get the most money for your home, put together a game plan on where you will move to and help you to achieve those goals. Be sure to align with a Realtor who has your best interest at heart.

During the pandemic, when covid set in and people were having a hard time making ends meet we were contacted by a past client, she was distraught and overwhelmed. Her 80+ year old mother fell behind on her mortgage and was facing foreclosure within days, not weeks. Her home had a lot of equity and she was about to lose it. With limited resources she faced becoming homeless. We were able to help her get caught up, save her home from foreclosure, get it sold and use the equity to purchase a new home on a reverse mortgage that would allow her to live out her remaining years worry free. We love helping people and therefore would use the funds to market our company, to show homeowners how we can be there to help them save their equity and better their situations. We utilize platforms such as Yelp, Facebook, Google as well as direct marketing to industry professionals who have clients we can assist.

My father has been a Broker for about 40 years, and after college decided to step into the family business. Rather than give me a job, he made me interview for positions, and learn the business from the ground up. I took time to learn all aspects from Escrow, Mortgages, Property Management, Investing to Traditional Real Estate

I continue to take advantage of education as offered from California Association of Realtors to outside companies. I studied Real Estate throughout college and have continued training all the way through. Real Estate is a hands on industry and with thousands of transactions over the course of my career I have a wealth of information that was learned first hand.
