We couldnt have asked for a better buying (and later, selling!) agent than Lisa. We must have seen 30 houses and made 10 offers over several months. Through it all, Lisa stuck with us and helped us find our perfect home. And what set her apart was that she made a tough search fun! Always with an upbeat attitude, no number of showings was too many, no phone call was too late, and she went the extra mile for us on each and every occasion. She was punctual, professional, and gave great advice, too. While we were thrilled to have an offer accepted, we were sad to see our time with Lisa end. We knew we were on the fussy/demanding end of the client-spectrum and did not have a sky-high budget. Lisa was patient and hard working. She answered all emails/texts very quickly. She was responsive and knowledgeable. She was also very helpful with educating us about relevant home ownership concerns since we had never owned our own place. After we had our offer accepted, but before closing we had a parade of contractors come though getting ready to do renovations in a very narrow window of time. ZillowVERIFIED Our house-buying process wound up being protracted, taking nearly a year, and the usual stress of selling/buying a home, and then moving, was compounded for us, but all along the way, Lisa Raposa, with the Ted Friedman Real Estate Group Team, was right beside us, guiding us along, cheerfully, helpfully, and honestly. We initially started with a different realtor from a different company, but when that agent refused to show us homes until the house we were selling was under contract, we turned to Lisa, whom we had met at an open house she hosted. From the beginning of our work with her, Lisa was always happy to schedule showings of homes for us to look at - no matter how many we wanted to see. She took time to get to know us and to understand what we wanted, and needed, in our new home. We knew that we could trust her advice, so we repeatedly asked her for her opinions and recommendations. She quickly responded to questions and concerns. Lisa went above and beyond in doing research about homes we were interested in and also regarding the area we were moving from, which was outside of her range. But Lisa took the time to learn about the town and real-estate market we were moving from, giving us much better advice about selling our home in Massachusetts than either of the two realtors we had there - we sold our house because of Lisas help, not theirs, in the end - and she navigated us through the process of moving to Rhode Island. Her knowledge of real estate overall and the RI and southern Massachusetts markets is impressive. In fact, shes still helping us, offering recommendations for contractors and others to do work on our new home.
