1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
I would do some due diligence to find someone with a proven track record and deep local knowledge. Use popular real estate websites like Zillow, Realtor and review sites, like Yelp and Angie's list to carefully review the agent's performance.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
When it comes to SELLING you need someone specialized and who has a HUGE marketing budget. You can use Zillow to see the agent's performance. An agent who is selling relatively few homes won't have a big budget to market your home. Do the agent offer a guarantee to sell the home? Also, check YELP for reviews.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
Team Forss work with all clients in the residential area. We're very proud of our record being ranked #1 by The Wall Street Journal and #1 in SoCal for number of homes sold. In 2017 we closed 508 homes.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
We close a home on average every 17 hours. We love to help sellers sell homes when their previous agent did not sell it. It happens almost every week. Most agents simply do not have the marketing funds to create the demand required to sell homes fast and for more money.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
We started in 2003. Lisa and I worked on our own and we became the #1 agent for Coldwell Banker in our area. We left and started our own business. In 2011 we closed $15M and then grew the business to $203M in 2017 and earned a spot with Inc 500 as one of the fastest growing companies in the USA.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Goran holds a M.S. in computer science which is extremely helpful when it comes to get our client's listing being ranked at the top and receiving 10-20 times more exposure over competing listings. It helps our client's listings sell faster and for more money, up to 21% more.
