ZillowVERIFIEDI recently sold my home and used Lindee Bess, owner of Besst Realty, to list it and I thought sell it. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a horrible experience. I was originally going to interview 2-3 realtors, but ended up signing with her based on her understanding of my situation, assurance that she would be working for me and not the buyer, and that she is a friend of a friend. She took pictures, listed my home, and had one of her agents do a 2-hour open house the first weekend. After that she really did nothing to sell my house other than have her assistant contact me for a couple other realtors to show my home. I had to contact her for any action. After I received an offer, I received multiple texts and calls pushing me to take the offer with no suggestion of a counter offer other than on the closing date. I was frustrated with Lindees lack of interest and effort in selling my home and pressure to take the first offer without a counter. I did counter and my counter was accepted, but did not get any advice from Lindee on this. I closed on a Friday and could fund that Friday or Monday. I had movers at my house and the security company coming to uninstall my system that Friday between 4:00 and 8:00 pm. I expressed my concerns about having to be out of the house prior to the 8:00pm if the house funded on Friday. Lindee assured me that she had the key and would keep it until I was out of the house. The title person agreed with no indication that it was a problem. I decided to let it fund on Friday, so the buyer would be able to move in over the weekend and not have to wait until Monday. That night the buyer showed up at 6:00 pm with the key while I was trying to clean the house and get my last things out. It turned into a huge mess. I called and text Lindee, she made excuses, and blamed the title person. After I received a text from the title person indicating that once it funds she has to release the keys to the buyer. Neither Lindee or the title person informed me of this when I was expressing my concerns about having to be out Friday before 8:00. When I left the house, the Buyer was using the Besst Realty trailer. Based on my conversations with Lindee, I understood that she did not know the buyer. But now I'm unsure what their relationship is. Lindee provided little to no service, took no responsibility for any problems that arose, and was deceptive in her practices with me. I am posting this review to hopefully compel Lindee to make some significant adjustments in her client service practices and keep others from having the terrible experience that I had.
