1st determine what you really want in a home. 2nd see what you can really afford, being sure to leave yourself enough for other things in your life like other expenses and vacations.

Try to look at your home from a buyers perspective. What do they see when entering your home that makes them think they would fit in there.

I've worked with both buyers and sellers of residential property.

I had 2 clients who came to Florida from California, each wanting a home. Over several days of showing different types of homes they both found ones that fit their needs perfectly. The homes were very different from what they thought they wanted at the beginning, but ended up with a better fit.

I was in educational sales in Chicago and was used to working with people. When I became a full time Florida resident, real estate was a natural choice. I knew how much I loved the area and wanted to share it with others.

My natural instinct is to really listen to each customer to determine what they want, but also show them other options in their price range for comparison.
