Linda Pillard is hands-down the best realtor we?ve ever worked with. She represented us in purchasing a mobile home in Esparto, CA, and a 20-acre property in Rumsey, CA, last year, and her expertise turned what could?ve been a daunting process into a triumph. Though we found the properties ourselves, Linda made them ours with unmatched skill and care. From the start, Linda and her husband, Ken, went above and beyond. They scheduled showings, joined us on-site, and asked sharp questions that revealed insights we?d have missed?especially about the nuances of rural property ownership. Linda took us under her wing like family, ensuring every decision was in our best interest. Her warmth, wit, and wisdom made us feel like lifelong friends were guiding us. I recently had the pleasure of working with Linda Pillard in selling a property. I initially found Linda many years ago after seeing many of her signs in the area. When it came time to sell, I had already heard plenty of positive comments about her from locals in the area. She has a strong reputation, is very experienced and has represented many sellers and buyers. I was looking for an agent that I could trust, that knew the market as I was from out of the area, that would protect me from any issues after the sale, and negotiate strongly on my behalf. A top agent like Linda really makes a difference in a challenging market or when dealing with difficult buyers or issues that come up in the transaction. I experienced all of the above and I do not believe any other agent could have successfully closed the transaction in the timeframe and at the price we did.. Even though I own a separate real estate company for over 20 years, I still chose Linda over my own agents so that tells you something. Any agent can list your property, do an open house, and pick up the phone. However, real estate transactions are complicated and there are many documents, disclosures, and forms and more are added every year. If youre not careful or if you use an agent that does not understand disclosures and liability and other pitfalls, you can expose yourself to problems after the close. Lindas negotiation skills are first-rate and she consistently found ways to get me the best price possible while making sure I was protected. She also went out of her way to ensure every detail was taken care of from arranging inspections to researching potential issues with a property to providing good and bad news in an honest manner with strategy on how to tackle each issue. There are many good agents out there, but you wont be able to tell if they are truly one of the best(or worst) until youre already in the process and by then its too late. Youre in good hands with Linda, regardless if youre a first time buyer/seller or very experienced, she explains everything and is available to represent your interests.

Selling country property is always a challenge. Double that during times of pandemic. In this case, finding a buyer was only the beginning. Linda worked with multiple buyers agents, multiple lenders and countless property visits and inspections. The buyer was very interested in the property but financing was the issue. She hung in there when other agents would have walked away. In the end, her patience and perseverance paid off and she closed the sale. Through it all, she kept us informed as to where we were and our options. Highly recommended.
