Review If you're buying a home for the first time, you will rely a lot on the experience and wisdom of others. Lillian was recommended by a friend who bought her first home last year and I was really pleased with how things turned out. Lillian is very knowledgeable about the process, was super responsive and reasonable, and helped us get what we wanted. I had a lot of seemingly silly questions and she answered them all without judgment. She will point out things about a potential house that you may not notice as a first time homebuyer (especially if you are touring a flip) and get you through negotiations with sound advice. Review My wife and I decided to buy a house in Pittsburgh earlier this year, and as first time homebuyers, it was pretty intimidating. We read about all sorts of opinions online, as well as heard from friends and family, about how to do things the right way and what to do and what not to do. One thing that came up consistently was that finding a good realtor early on was extremely important. But we weren't really sure how to find someone, so we asked around in our network of friends in Pittsburgh. Fortunately for us, we knew a couple that had closed on a house earlier this year (our former apartment neighbors, actually) and they recommended Lillian to us. As a first time homebuyer, it's the first time I've worked with a realtor. I don't know what other realtors are like, and how to compare Lillian to them. However, I can say that if I had to buy a house again, I would choose Lillian again in a heartbeat. I'm sure you can find other reviews for her here that mention all of her good points, like being quick to respond, helpful and patient, knowledgeable and thorough, competent and kind, and more. But I'll try and keep it short and just say that I'm very glad that we got to work with Lillian, and hopefully she stays in the real estate business for a long time so that we can work with her again at some point.

Review The first time I met Lillian, she sat down with me for 1-2 hours and just wanted to hear about how I ended up wanted a home, and how I arrive to this point in life. She truly cares about finding something that is relevant to your life journey and makes sense for your overall goals -- not just matching you up with any old/new home. She also was incredible at providing recommendations for reliable contractors who do good work. I thought the process was going to be super stressful since it's my first house purchase, but Lillian and her team have everything so streamlined, that it was actually pretty easy! Also, she's wonderful at pointing things out during home walk-throughs, such as looking for moisture accumulation, structural issues, etc. She loves her work and it shows through her immense knowledge and willingness to share it. She will provide recommendations during the negotiation process, too, but she will always ask you about your priorities and goals to make sure you are making the decision that is best for you. I'm recommending Lillian to some of my closest friends now too because of my experience.

Review I'm not sure I can properly convey what an amazing experience my husband and I had working with Lillian. I purposefully sought her out early in our house search because she looked relatable and seemed to genuinely care about her clients. Upon our first meeting, she exceeded any expectations we had. She took an hour (maybe more) to ask us thoughtful questions and clarify common misconceptions on the Pgh housing market (high taxes dont always mean good schools!). She helped us find quality listings, and was frank, but kind, in her assessment of each of them. She was always extremely responsive, thorough, and calm. She has a sharp acumen for the Pittsburgh market, and we trusted her assessments completely. Her relationships with mortgage companies and inspectors were invaluable, as we received both a competitive rate and an extremely thorough home inspection. When she was out of town, we worked with her teammates, the also wonderful Julie & Ted Block. We felt extremely well cared for throughout the home buying and selling process. The only reason I put 4 stars for responsiveness, is that Zillow considers 5 stars to be "immediate responses," and in this day and age, do you really want instant responses to everything?! Lillian ALWAYS responded within 24 hours, and if it was urgent, she always responded well before then. The reason I point this out is that if your realtor is truly "immediately responsive," then he or she is likely not being respectful of the clients that she is with during showings, meetings, or contract writing; so in my opinion, Zillow has the idea of 5 stars for responsiveness completely wrong! ;) Lillian was beyond adequately responsive for us, and we appreciated that when we were meeting with her, we had her FULL attention and aid. That was exactly what we wanted in our real estate agent - someone who valued her customers' time, as much as we valued hers.If you're looking to buy a home in the Pittsburgh area, we 20/10 recommend Lillian!!

Ultimately, she helped us write a great offer for the house we bought, and we couldn't be happier!She was also super helpful in selling our house--we didn't have a ton of money to put into it, and she helped us ID the most important things to do to get it ready, took beautiful photos and got it sold quickly. Overall, Lillian did a great job of working with us in a way that worked for us--she was always available if we needed her, and gave us space and time when we needed that, too. She gave great advice on putting together competitive offers (as buyers), and how to understand and choose between multiple offers (as sellers). I can't say enough good things about Lillian and would recommend her to anyone!

Review My wife and I worked with Lillian to buy our first home for about 6 months. I would recommend Lillian to anyone who was looking to purchase a home and wanted to know what our experience was. Due to our schedules we saw homes and talked to Lillian almost exclusively on weekends and late hours which she essentially always was able to accommodate. Also, Lillian was able to set up viewings on short notice as we found things that we wanted to see by looking through her suggestions and other resources. Additionally she exhibited mastery of the topic and helped us get things finished up when negotiating with the seller and when our mortgage process was being delayed. For these reasons the process was easy to go through and we felt like we were making informed decisions all along the way.

Review Lillian is quite simply the best of the best. Kind, responsive, and super smart, she's great at explaining everything from financing to renovation and everywhere in between. New and experienced home buyers alike will have a lot to learn from her. A fierce advocate for her clients, she helped me avert so many crises in what turned out to be a very challenging home buying process (the seller's fault, not hers). I think I would've given up if I'd had anyone else shepherding me through this process, but her perseverance and patience were incredible. I'll be recommending her enthusiastically to everyone I know, whether they're buying a house or not!
