ZillowVERIFIED My wife and I met Leigh Quintana over four years ago. We lived in the East Village at the time and every Autumn we'd come up to the Hudson Valley to look at the changing leaves and pick pumpkins. Every year we'd remark how great it felt to be out of the city and how someday, someday we'd love to move up to the Hudson Valley ourselves. On one such trip, on a whim, we walked into an office where Leigh was working and asked her if we could see some houses; that day, that moment. Without hesitation, Leigh asked what we were looking for and within thirty minutes, we were driving around looking at homes. We didn't find anything that day, and even if we had, we were in no position to make any offers at the moment. All the same, Leigh treated us as if we were the most important client she had. Over the next four years, our trips up to the Hudson Valley grew in frequency. And on every trip, EVERY TRIP, Leigh would show us around different towns, all over the Hudson Valley and tour homes with us. We saw SO many homes. This went on for years!! I'm not sure how many miles we traveled, how many hours she spent with us or how many homes we saw, but it was A LOT. Leigh never pressured us to buy, never got discouraged when we weren't ready to jump, never was anything other than honest and supportive and delightful and informative. Even after all those years, when we were finally ready to make our move, after seeing all those houses, Leigh was STILL only interested in finding the best home for us. Leigh even STOPPED us from making offers on two separate house which she didn't think were good investments for us. Let me repeat that: she stopped us from making bad decisions on houses we were ready to make offers on, after FOUR YEARS of looking with us!! How easy it would have been for her to simply let us buy one of those houses, make her commission and move on. She didn't do that, thankfully. Leigh didn't just want the sale, she wanted us to make the best decision for our family. She cared not about her bottom line, but rather our future. Our happiness. Our forever home.We are so very grateful.To say Leigh is an incredible agent, an exemplary human, a real estate angel, are all words which pale in comparison to the actuality of Leigh Quintana.Finding our house was very trying and frustrating at times, and, were not for Leigh at our side along the way, it could have been an abject disaster. It wasn't. Because of Leigh Quintana. If it sounds like I'm gushing, I am. There isn't a better, more honest, more driven, more thoughtful agent in the state of New York, I'm sure. She was readily available to handle tasks that i could not, because i was not living in my home at the time. ZillowVERIFIED Leigh was our personal savior, and I don't say this lightly. We were new to New York and didn't know where to begin. We were thinking about renting, and when the rental market wasn't panning out in the winter of 2019, we randomly found Leigh when we were driving around looking at properties in Ulster County. It was the end of the day on a Saturday - she dropped everything and came to see us to show us the property. She explained to us that buying would be better than renting given our requirements. She told us about the high taxes in the area, and where to look to suit our budget. We loved her no-nonsense, cut-to-the-chase style - it was extremely refreshing. She agreed to show us houses the very next day. She moved her schedule around to show us almost 10 houses and we picked the one we liked best (but she was prepared to show more if necessary). I note also that she guided us on making the best offer, which was immediately accepted, and here's the best part: I had learned in seeking pre-approval that closing in New York takes usually 75-90 days. We were behind the curve already when we met Leigh - I had to start work in 60 days. Believe me when I say that Leigh had us closed in 60 days. We have never, ever had a better house-buying experience than with Ms. Quintana. She is the best, you will not be disappointed. I would recommend her to anyone.
