Leigh Anne Monk

I have lived in northern Virginia since the early 80s. After a few years working in the international division of a manufacturing company, I entered the world of sales management in the telecommunications field and enjoyed 12 years of increasingly challenging positions. Our business clients were nationwide, however, and I missed the face to face interaction with clients.

Through learning about real estate investment through local seminars my husband and I started our real estate careers by flipping homes and buying other homes to hold and rent out. I caught the "real estate" bug by investing first and then turned my passion for real estate into my current role of helping clients buy and sell their residential and investment properties.

For over 12 years I have helped clients buy, sell, invest in or rent out their homes. "Always professional", "Good listener", "Tireless negotiator", "Always had our back", "Best agent we've ever had" are just some of the comments I have received over the years.

On a personal level, I am passionate about promoting "older child adoption". My husband and I adopted a 13-year old girl from the U.S. foster care system in 2018. She is our first child, after 32 years of marriage, and I can say unreservedly she has changed our lives for the better. Every child deserves a loving home and it grieves me that so many children age of out of foster care with no place to call home.
