ZillowVERIFIED Laurie was of great assistance in selling my mothers house. We called her the Friday before the Thanksgiving weekend telling her we wanted to sell the house aEUR~as-is. She quickly visited the house to assess its value, produced reports to guide us in selecting an asking price, and arranged for a professional photographer to come shoot the house. Because the house was empty, she also engaged someone to virtually furnish some of the photos to show its potential. Her description of the house was exactly what I wanted. It was my childhood house with great memories and a house that has so much to offer the next family. She accomplished this all by the day after Thanksgiving and had the house listed that Saturday. To me this was a major feat and unexpected due to the complications of the holiday week. She had been adamant that we should take advantage of the holiday weekend and got it done. We were immediately impressed by her professionalism and also the great resources that Keller Williams provides in order to obtain a good listing price for a rapid sale. We originally contacted her pre-Covid, and she was willing to wait until we felt safe enough in 2021 to start the active selling process. She recommended great contractors to do the work needed to get the house ready to list and to meet the buyers' requirements once we had accepted an offer.We were especially impressed with Laurie's ability to size up the two offers that we got, and to recommend the one that she thought would go to closing fastest and most easily. She recommended a lower offer, even though that meant a reduced commission for her, because she thought it was a more solid offer.We had to move out before the house was listed, and Laurie was especially helpful in letting the contractors into the house and keeping an eye on the property in our absence, with the help of our fantastic neighbors. She made sure that everything was taken care of and the house was secure at the end of the day.We cannot recommend Laurie too highly. ZillowVERIFIED We live in Phoenix, AZ and owned a house in Bristol, CT. In 2009 we contacted Laurie (referred to us by a friend) to help us sell the house. Considering the market we finally decided to rent the house until the market improved. For 5 years, Laurie patiently helped us find a property manager and watch the market. In 2014 the renters were not paying the rent and we decided once again to sell the house. Laurie helped us with the eviction process by finding us an attorney and kept an eye on the property until the renters were gone. The renters left the house in such a mess that it required major repairs before we could list it. Laurie was a godsend. Through her extensive network, she had the necessary repairs assessed, arranged with contractors, plumbers, electricians, etc. to perform the work, and provided oversight to ensure the work was appropriately completed. Once the house was ready for listing, she found us a buyer and helped us negotiate an acceptable contract. For over 5 years, Laurie went way beyond the traditional real estate agent responsibilities to help us with our property. Through the years, my wife and I have bought and sold a number of houses. We have always had a good experience with the real estate agents who helped us, but I can say, with certainty, Laurie would be the one we would contact should we need one in the future.
