She staged the home for pictures and to host open houses and it looked great. One of the items she had done was to create a floor plan of the home in order to show how it is laid out for prospective buyers to see online, I really liked that. Her team held multiple open houses and we had an offer I believe within a week, unfortunately that fell through, but the home was marketed again and sold within a few days. ZillowVERIFIED Laurie and I have been in touch for a number of years. When we finally decided to put the ranch on the market we contacted Laurie and several other agents. We felt that Laurie's familiarity with our area was a big plus. The property was on the market for six months which was unexpected due to the active market, but the home needed major upgrades which made it more difficult to sell. We also were using it as a vacation rental ( with consistent five star reviews) and it was constantly in use so scheduling was sometimes difficult. I would guess that maybe a total of 20 different parties looked at the home which was very disappointing and made us wonder about the marketing efforts, but with Laurie's ideas and flexibility the house finally sold and we are thrilled with the new owners as they will be our next door neighbors. I chose Laurie for the sale of my upscale home for this very reason. I knew, of course, the expertise of Long Realty's Tanque Verde Trio agency, and particularly Laurie, in my neighborhood. Her sales, and that of her team, were evident from years of noticing how quickly her listed properties sold. So after my wife died and I decided to sell, I called Laurie.I'll admit to being intimidated by the work ahead of me. But Laurie came out six months ahead of planned listing date and advised me on the priorities that would facilitate sale at the highest price. I called her often during this prep period, and Laurie was quick to respond, even though I hadn't yet signed a listing agreement.The work to ready the house paid off, and as a result, Laurie suggested we raise the planned price point, much to my delight.A problem arrived shortly after signing a listing agreement when to beat the coronavirus lockdown, I needed to leave before my listing went live. Although she represented both buyers in this case (my husband and I) and sellers, she somehow managed to represent both of us very fairly. We therefore hired the trio two months ago to sell our house, as we had moved into the house we built on the lot we purchased. First, Laurie and Layne did a preliminary walk-through of our house and made numerous recommendations including painting, repairs, etc., which we followed. Prior to officially listing our house, Laurie, Layne and Claire staged it, which definitely made it more inviting. We ended up getting an offer within two days of listing! Laurie is also a very experienced negotiator; she knows the market and what is a fair price. She also has excellent attention to detail which is so important in these transactions. ZillowVERIFIED Laurie Hassey and the Tanque Verde Trio were outstanding in absolutely every aspect of selling our home. From our first contact with Laurie and Layne, we knew that we now had the top team in Tucson working to sell our home. They also provided staging furniture for many rooms which no longer had furniture while allowing us to continue living in the rooms for which we had furniture. This saved us a LOT of money. Laurie's walked us through each line in the contract to make sure that we totally understood what was in the contract. Docusign is very handy, but these are legal documents that sellers and buyers really need to understand. Terms such as breach and cure and time lines need to be understood because pitfalls can, and often do, arise during a closing. She uses an excellent photographer and includes a diagram of the house in the listing, so potential buyers knew a great deal about our house just from the Internet. Laurie held open houses and was generally present at viewings or prior to a viewing so that lights were turned on and the curtains were open. We are now using Laurie and the Tanque Verde Trio to sell a rental property. Even though the selling price is significantly less, Laurie is still giving us the same quality experience. Laurie Hassey and the Tanque Verde Trio can answer every question, concern or issue that may arise during the listing and selling/buying of a home.
