About Laurie Donofrio

My passion for helping people has set me apart in this industry. This career is about more than getting my clients to closing, it's about helping them with their journey of homeownership and wealth building for the life of their investments.My goal is to be a true real esate advisor, before, during and after the sale. I rarely send out a calendar, but you can count on me for an investment analysis and tips on renovations or updates with the best ROI. Originally from California, I grew up helping a top producer before moving to Texas with my new husband and getting my own license. I opened up my own independent company in San Antonio before my husband left the Air Force and we relocated to the DC area and called Annapolis, MD home.We've called North Carolina home since 1999. This was the first place we ever chose to live and love it here! Still married, still selling real estate and now raising twin teenagers. In 2020, I expanded my business to just over the state line in Virginia. Our clients in the Triangle area love getting second homes on Kerr Lake and Lake Gaston, which both straddle the NC/VA line. It only made sense to expand with their searches and I set up an office in Clarksville VA to help people enjoy the Lake Life as much as my family does in the Nutbush Bridge area. I paid over 20% less than I expected. I was in a hurry to buy, but she said she would put in an offer for less...offer was accepted! She always answered phone, even at 6am on a holiday, then met me at the property! The property was a very low dollar amount, not much of a commission, but OUTSTANDING EFFORT on her part! Highest recommendation!
