ZillowVERIFIED I knew my husband and I found our broker the minute we met Laurie Dau. We had dealt with 2 other brokers prior to meeting her and I was simply blown away by her and her team. She was professional, savvy, efficient and so attentive to our needs. She never stopped working hard or took longer than half a day to reply to emails/texts, etc...that includes while she was vacationing with her family. We had a rather complicated sale on our property in Brooklyn (brokered by a group in that area) which was creating one misfire after the other for Laurie Dau and her team. She tackled every last issue and walked me through everything AND constantly checking in via call/text with updates. When things got super stressful I called Laurie instead of my own husband and her encouragement always made me feel relieved. I think Laurie's biggest attribute is her ability to negotiate....she got us EVERYTHING we wanted. This was an estate sale and a tractor in the garage was to be included in the sale. There was some miscommunication between the selling agent and the estate attorney and the tractor was sold. Laurie felt so terrible about it (even tho it wasn't her fault) that she insisted on paying for our first lawn mow! My cousin has been in the business for a long time (Berkshire Hathaway, Westport CT) and said she has never seen a broker go this far above and beyond for any client. I will be sending more business their way. In fact, my mother has become a client of this group and is working with Yadi who is also outstanding. And of course there is Amanda Kim who is SUPER fast and replies to emails within the hour. She ought to be a press secretary for the White House.
