We used them when we bought our first house in 2016, and they were our natural choice when it came time to sell. Lauren expertly and kindly guided us through the process! She helped us figure out how to get the most bang for our buck, and advised us what was worth putting in a little money on to get the best price, while also helping us avoid spending that was unnecessary. We were referred to Lauren by a friend and I could not have been happier to have found her as we began our house search in Maynard. Our home buying search was a long process given the small housing inventory size. Lauren was patient and diligent in showing us house after house until we found the house that was right for us. Her experience and expertise was invaluable as we looked at properties and she was able to offer us exceptional insight and guidance as we had never been through the process of purchasing a home before. It became quite clear that she was not only incredibly knowledgeable about real estate but also about the area and she was extremely invested in the town of Maynard. When we finally found a property that felt like a good fit for our family, Lauren did a great job of educating us on the details of what to expect during each stage of the offer process, which was more complicated as it was a short sale. As we waited to hear from the seller's bank on our offer for SEVEN months, Lauren never stopped being attentive to our needs and responsive to my many (many) questions. The short sale didn't end up working out for us and we found another home in September. With Lauren's guidance and experienced recommendations, we made an offer that was accepted and we were able close a few short months later. ZillowVERIFIED This was my first time being involved in a purchase of a home. I am one to always look before I leap. So, I was ahead of the game knowing the specific town and type of house I wanted. I acquired pre-approval for my loan and continued to the next step researching homes and realtors. About every realtor site has sparkling review of every agent they have. Just like purchasing a product I question things that are too good to be true when I don't find a single review below 4 to 5 stars. So, I set of to the internet. So glad I did. I was able to determine a bit more about Lauren than other realtors. The factors that won me over were her many years of experience (huge plus compared to other agents I researched), she lived in my target town (big benefit for acquiring quick info about it), her consistent house closing record (as both a seller and buyer) and her large number of reviews. I contacted Lauren and off we went. Useful fact from Lauren, she comes from a family involved in contracting and building. At the first house, I made an offer on she pointed out a number of details about the house that would require replacement or immediate attention aka a purchasing credit or a reason for a lower bid. I am a DIYer and knew once she directed me to these problem areas that she knew her business. My experience buying a house was more frustrating and lengthy than your typical purchase since it was an estate sale and the seller, selling agent and selling attorney all dropped the ball so many times. BTW I strongly recommend title insurance. At one point I was freaking out that I would lose my apartment before I could close on the new house. However, I had an A-team that went above and beyond and pretty much held the seller's side hand and instructed the selling side of oh so so so so many times on how to get things done. Lauren was a God sent. She stayed on top of everything, kept me up to date with progress, mitigated issues on the house by negotiating credits from the seller at the closing, acquired estimates on asbestos abatement and radon mitigation, helped pressure the selling agent to respond and get moving, was readily and quick turnaround times on communication, as well as recommending companies and getting them in to perform work on the house. Lauren is hands down the model of a top realtor agent. I am strongly recommending her to everyone I know and meet in the need for a realtor.

Our experiences with other Realtors was fine but both myself and my wife felt like we really kind of "clicked" with Lauren right from our first meeting. Neither of us ever felt like there was any sort of pressure to rush into a decision and Lauren was always very thoughtful and thorough when going about her work showing us around the town of Maynard. The home that my wife and I purchased is our first home and we naturally had a lot of questions about the process. Lauren was always very patient in answering questions that she's undoubtedly been asked thousands of times before and was always very prompt about answering in a timely manner. When we were getting to know the town of Maynard, Lauren took us on an extended tour of the town and was careful to point out not just things like school locations, the post office, etc. but also what the local real estate market has been doing, what new public works projects were being planned and so forth. It was actually pretty amazing just how well Lauren knew the ins and outs of the town. Overall, I have to give Lauren my highest recommendation. She's an absolute gem.

This helped us to get a full-price offer the first weekend that the house was back on the market. When the appraisal came in at a lower price than the offer, she worked diligently to get the appraisal increased to the agreed-upon price. It is our understanding that it is unusual to get an appraiser to revise their original calculation so we know that Lauren worked hard to put together such a strong appeal on our behalf. Her experience in real estate was demonstrated repeatedly. She was responsive and helped to reduce our stress during the entire process.
