ZillowI contacted Laura to sell my house because she was the person who helped us buy the house several years ago. She is extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. I give her my highest recommendation!
ZillowLaura is an all-star agent, very detail oriented and knowledgeable about all of the lake real estate nuances (such as septic systems, inspections, HOAs, water depths, dock permitting). Laura and her team made certain to protect our interests throughout the transaction. Lauras deep roots in the community also allowed us priority access to her companys roster of reputable contractors and other professionals that well use in the future for improvements to the home that we purchased.
ZillowLaura did a fabulous job. She was not only attentive to exactly what we wanted and needed. We lived out of state and she went over and beyond with her knowledge and helped in navigating our home buying process. For example, a listing would come up and we were 5 hours away. Laura would jump in her vehicle and drove to numerous homes for us. That was after the very first time that we met her. She was on 24/7 numerous times. She loves what she does. If we had questions, she had the answers or would get them immediately. Laura is the one you want in your corner for buying or selling. We have already referred her to others. That says a lot.
ZillowLaura made our home buying experience personal and professional. Her knowledge of the area was extremely helpful. I especially appreciated her candor when she felt we should just walk away from a potential home. It was not Just about a sale to Laura. It was about us and our happiness with the right home in the right location.
ZillowLaura Simmons Markway is the only realtor at the Lake of the Ozarks you should call. As a lifelong resident, her knowledge of buying and selling property at the Lake of the Ozarks was a tremendous asset to our lake experience. We were referred to RE/MAX Krantz and Associates from our local RE/MAX realtor in Kansas City. Upon speaking to Jeff Krantz on the phone, he referred us to Laura to assist us in finding our home. As a buyer's agent, she is phenomenal at explaining the area and important aspects to look for in a "lake" home. There are many aspects of the perfect home search that she turned us onto or away from just because of her knowledge - and our lack thereof. The lake is unique. Her interest in your investment is sincere and her goal is learning what you want out of a new home and making it a reality! She was absolutely instrumental in our ability to get the lake home we WANTED for the price we NEEDED it to be. When we chose to sell our home, there was no question who we would call. After making many updates to our home, Laura came out for an assessment and listed our home quickly with a beautifully written listing description to accompany professional photos and a lifestyles video that SOLD our home in 5 days! She ensured a smooth inspection period and on-time closing. We are thankful for Laura Simmons Markway with Krantz and Associates and her expertise in the field of Real Estate at the Lake of the Ozarks. We feel that through this experience, we have a new friend we will call on if we ever purchase again in the area.
ZillowLaura was awesome!! She made the purchase of a Lake Property seem like such a breeze for my wife and I. She presented options, displayed the negatives and the positives and closed the deal effectively, efficiently and very quickly. It's hard to find a Realtor that is a Team Player like Laura. I definitely hope that I have the opportunity to work with her again one day.
ZillowLaura was nothing but remarkable to work with. I absolutely enjoyed having her as our realtor. This whole homebuying process was completely foreign to me, and I was so thankful she was able to guide us and help us buy our first home successfully. I look forward to using her in the future.

ZillowLaura is a very positive person and will always be looking for a way to get it done. Our sale had a difficult buyer situation and she keep focus on the end result and keep everyone on point and the deal closed. ZillowLaura is awesome. Lake pro!!! I was out of market and she quickly narrowed down properties for me that were worth my time to look at. ZillowWhen it comes to Laura, we could not have asked for a more professional real estate agent. The whole experience from the beginning to the end was spectacular, and could not have gone any better. From getting us more money than we initially thought we could get, to handling each step of the process with ease, to helping us find a rental to live in, while our new house is being built! Laura and her whole team were fantastic.
ZillowWe were so impressed by Laura. She was professional, knowledgeable, prompt and simply a joy to work with. Laura knew the neighborhood extremely well, she gave us information on who to call about internet and trash. She checked in with us several times throughout the process asking us if we had any concerns or questions. She went with us to view the property several times never making us feel rushed by doing so. Her communication skills were impeccable, communication was effortless and quick at any and all times. The entire buying process went quick and painless. Laura was an absolute blessing!
ZillowLaura did an excellent job getting our mother's home sold in Eldon. There were some challenges along the way but she kept on top of the situation at all times. She is very friendly and caring and is genuinely concerned about her client's needs. I would highly recommend her for any real estate need!
ZillowLaura showed us numerous properties during the course of our lake front home search. Once we found the perfect house, she went above and beyond expectations to assure the transaction was completed. Her knowledge of the lake and her contacts with vendors, contractors, electricians, plumbers and landscaping professionals was invaluable in getting things done prior to closing. Laura also was our listing agent and, again, her knowledge of the lake market brought us top dollar for the house we sold. I would highly recommend Laura if you are buying or selling anywhere at the lake!
ZillowI find Laura to be courteous , professional and aims to please her client. She will utilize any and all tools available to her to complete a transaction. She is quick to match prospective buyers to a property that may become available. I would highly recommend Laura Simmons Markway to be hired as your property listing/selling agent.
ZillowAfter having a bad experience with another agent and not being able to sell our house. Laura was highly recommended to me. Laura went full speed and got our house under contract in one day. Laura is very good at what she does, explained everything along the way and she made it easy for us bc we were out of state. There is only five stars but I give Laura a ten! She goes above and beyond what I ever experienced before with a realtor.
ZillowWe enjoyed working with Laura and the RE/MAX Team. Laura was very knowledgeable, responded quickly and answered our many questions. She quickly and professionally dealt with several issues that came up during the process. The office staff was also very helpful. I would happily recommend Laura for any real estate needs.
ZillowWe contacted Laura as she had the property listed. The process happend very quickly due to rural properties in the area selling fast. She negotiated for us with the sellers to secure an accepted offer within 24 hrs. She was very knowledgeable of the area and local property owners/neighbors. She went above and beyond getting a survey done prior to closing. She was very responsive and persistent working through the challenges of the lender. Lauras upbeat and friendly personality made the whole family feel welcomed to the area and local community. She treated us to lunch at the local Pub and Grub and shared an abundance of information of what it has to offer. We are thankful and excited to start this new adventure with our family. We would highly recommend Laura as an agent to others. Thank you Laura for putting out all the fires and getting it done....Respectfully,Michael and Jodi Nelson
ZillowI worked with Laura from Krantz and Associates to sell my home in sunrise beach missouri. I didnt know any realtors in lake of the ozarks so I was a little stressed about finding a good reliable realtor... the first time I spoke with Laura on the phone I knew she was going to be my realtor. She was confident and gave me the peace of my mind that she knew what she was doing. She had almost all of the information I needed within an hour. She gave me a price point and an estimated sell time, that she met and exceeded. She had my house sold within a month of listing. Her and her team made everything easy, I never had to leave the comfort of my home... in Arizona! I give Krantz and Associates a 20 out of 10 stars, they truly are professionals and know what they are doing.
ZillowLaura was great to work with and on our offer date, she was in the Hospital having her 2nd baby. Her supervisor called and was able to step in why Laura was out and help facilitate the sale. Laura and your office were a pleasure to work with.
