FAQ
1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
There’s so much I could share with anyone preparing to buy a home, but one of the most important things I recommend is to work with a full-time professional Realtor®. Real estate isn’t something to be done “on the side” — this is likely the largest investment you’ll ever make, and it should never be entrusted to an amateur.
The next key is choosing a Realtor® who is well-versed in the specific area you want to buy in. When selling a home, you want someone with strong marketing, staging, and negotiating expertise — skills that can be applied in many markets. But when buying, local knowledge is absolutely critical. It’s what gives you access to real, usable insights about neighborhoods, current market shifts, off-market opportunities, and more.
Lastly, find a Realtor® you genuinely connect with. This is someone you’ll be communicating with regularly for months, so trust, communication, and compatibility matter. High-volume, experienced Realtors® — like myself — have built deep relationships with trusted third-party professionals you’ll likely need along the way, from mortgage lenders to home inspectors and beyond.
Advice for Buyers - My best advice? Start by finding the right Realtor®. Then, together, create a plan to turn your homeownership dreams into reality.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Advice I give every seller - When it comes to selling your home, don’t just hire a friend or family member because they offer to discount their listing fee and “give you a deal.” This is not the time to focus solely on what you’re paying — instead, focus on what you stand to net. There’s a big difference.
Any licensed agent can list your home and likely get offers from buyers through the MLS, but it takes a true professional to help you maximize your net proceeds and achieve top dollar. A full-time Realtor® with a proven track record will provide a thorough market analysis, a clear strategy for success, and expert guidance on how to present your home to deliver the highest possible return on investment.
Look for a Realtor® who will not only give you different options for selling your home, but also analyze each method for you, taking into account your goals and timelines — without the pressure of pushy sales tactics. Do your research: check online, see track records, and recent sales. Most importantly, choose someone you genuinely like and trust. The relationship between a seller and their listing agent is close, and you deserve a partner who will guide you through this complex process with integrity, expertise, and care.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
I’ve had the privilege of working with clients from all walks of life — and that’s one of the things I love most about being a Realtor®. Meeting people where they are and walking alongside them through the complex process of selling, buying, or leasing in California is truly an honor.
From guiding first-time buyers through the excitement and stress with patience and care, to helping families navigate the emotional process of selling a loved one’s home after their passing with dignity, respect, and expertise — every story is unique, and every client matters deeply to me. I’ve worked with seasoned investors and property rehab specialists, as well as individuals and families making the move that matters most to them.
Whether it’s up-sizing, downsizing, staying local, relocating out of the area, or assisting absentee owners in cashing out, liquidating, or completing tax-advantaged 1031 exchanges, I bring the same commitment and dedication to every transaction. My goal is simple: to provide professional service, unwavering guidance, and genuine care to help turn each client’s real estate dreams into reality.

Working with Laura Rose was one of the best decisions we made during our home-buying journey. From day one, Laura impressed us with her work ethic. She is incredibly hardworking and was always one step ahead, ensuring nothing fell through the cracks. What really set her apart was her deep knowledge of the neighborhood we were focused on. She didn't just know the listings, she knew the streets, the market trends, and even the small details that only a true local expert would pick up on. Laura guided us through every step of the buying process with clarity and confidence. Whether it was navigating the offer process, inspections, or closing logistics, she had answers for everything and kept us informed the entire way. One of the biggest added benefits of working with Laura is the network she brings with her. Through her, we had access to a range of trusted contractors such as painters, inspectors, electricians, you name it. It made the entire process seamless and much less stressful.

We've been part of this community for a long time, and we've never seen a realtor as dedicated as Laura Rose. She hosts movies and coffee in the park, sponsors school jog-a-thons, provides t-shirts, runs shredding events, and consistently supports Eastwood Elementary in ways the school counts on year after year. Laura truly sets the standard for what it means to be a community-focused realtor. If we ever needed to buy or sell a home, she'd be our first call. Thank you, Laura, you deserve all the business!

Laura helped us sell our first home while moving into our aEUR~forever home and I have nothing but positive things to say about the experience. As always, contemplating and completing a move was filled with stress and competing thoughts. We had two young kids, we arent big DIYers, we adored our old neighbors, we were considering renting vs. selling our old property, one of us had more interest in a move than the other and the list goes onaEUR| Laura navigated all of that with expertise, care, compassion and a lot of hard work! A fantastic experience. To back up a little, we first met Laura over 10 years ago due to events in the local community (basically free Santa pictures is how we first saw it) but then quickly realized if we ever needed a realtor, we should absolutely talk to her. It was a tough decision but we switched from our first realtor who was a close family friend as we felt Lauras familiarity with the local area would be key. We werent wrong! Thanks again for a great experience and all you do for the community!
