Like so many folks that love NC, I'm a transplant. A native New Yorker by birth and a Chapel Hill girl by marriage, I've been living, working and raising my family here for more than 22 years. Life is full of wonderful surprises - and my career reflects that - with early years spent working for UNICEF, the United Nations Children's Fund. What is the total opposite of working for children in developing countries? Wall Street! So I went there and spent years working for Lehman Brothers and Reuters, planning special projects and events in the US, Europe and Asia. It was exciting and has left me with a great love of travel. Fast forward - Laura and Reg get married and move to Chapel Hill. Kids, dogs, cats and a great job at UNC, designing and building their University Events department. And finally -- here my ultimate pivot! My best job, my favorite job ever!!! Helping people from all over find their special home in the Triangle like I did. What makes me special as a Realtor? That one is easy - I love our towns, and I want you to find your place here, too. That starts with great project management and negotiation skills and ends... Well never. I am your resource for kids' sports teams, restaurants, doctors, shopping, trails and rescue animals. My husband, Reg - also a Compass realtor and a licensed appraiser, and I have three teenagers - all current or former students of the Chapel Hill Carrboro city schools.
