I traveled to Ohio and interviewed four top local agents that my wife who is also a realtor selected to handle the transaction. From Lauras listing presentation, prepping the house, adjusting her schedule during the thanksgiving holiday, negotiating two all cash offers, to the close of the transaction went flawlessly. Lauras knowledge of real estate, the local market and changing market conditions proved invaluable to pricing it right and getting buyers in and offers on the table in record time. From the date of the listing to close of escrow was about 3 weeks. She made an appointment with us promptly that day for me and my husband to take a look. She made me feel comfortable immediately that she was kind and professional and gave her expert opinion right away that the house maybe over priced and we should even put in a lower offer, even in this market! We took her advise and they accepted our offer but asked if we would like the driveway paved which we did. So we got the perfect house of our dreams with a new paved driveway all under list in 2022! She made the entire purchasing project so easy, answered our questions promptly and professionally. She recommended an excellent home and well inspector that made me feel very comfortable with the purchase of our home as they thoroughly looked at and explained everything to me in detail. They scheduled the inspections within a couple days and were also affordable.Now that we have moved in she will be listing our house and trust that she will take good care of the sale.I felt like I was working with a close friend because she really cares and has a fun upbeat personality. She would say whether or not she would personally live in the house. I loved that she was so truthful. Never once did we feel like we were rushed into buying a house. My wife and I started browsing Zillow and all the other sites. We knew the housing market was crazy. Cash offers left and right, people waiving inspections and doing crazy things to buy a home. We didn't know Ohio cities hardly at all. We knew we needed someone knowledgeable and started looking for a local agent. I came across Laura's profile and read her Bio and her reviews. To be honest I didn't think she would have time to work with us with how incredible her reviews were. We reached out by email through Zillow and I got a call from her within 48 hours. Immediately there was a professional chemistry, she was friendly, knowledgeable on the areas of Northeast Ohio and asked us questions about what was important to us. I could tell she was listening, we talked about family, schools, the "vibe" of the towns etc. Then we worked together incredibly well. We sent her listings we found interesting and she vetted them very quickly to make sure they were good fits and she also sent us properties that met our needs. We're 2.5 hours away and Laura offered virtual visits or multiple property visits in a single day to maximize our time spent. My wife also hit it off with Laura and felt comfortable throughout the whole process, which was important to us! We had the misfortune of working with a really bad agent during our first home purchase 9 years ago. Working with Laura was so refreshing knowing how a great experience could be by comparison.
