ZillowVERIFIEDShe is very responsive and knowledgeable. It took her one meeting to understand what we wanted and to find us a home. She checked in weekly and was there on one of the most important days of my life...closing. I referred family to her. She is wonderful.

ZillowVERIFIED My husband and I were interested in purchasing a home in Brunswick Forest in Leland, N.C. After some online research, I found Laura Mathis' profile as a local agent. We had an in-depth conversation and I explained to her what type of home we were looking for. In addition, to receiving daily new home listings, Laura called me the day the home we ended up purchasing, came on the market. She asked me if I would like her to go to the home and do a video tour. I said yes and she sent it to me when it was done that same afternoon. The house is beautiful, but I can't say enough good things about Laura's video and her live commentary as she walked around the home. We decide to put in an offer which was eventually accepted after a few changes. Laura is an excellent, attentive and knoweledgeable realtor who provides excellent representation to her clients . She is always available by phone, email and text and the purchasing and closing went smoothly. Thank you Laura, my husband and I highly recommend her!!

ZillowVERIFIED Our family and I would like to thank Tony and Laura Ward, and Leigh Mabee at Caldwell Banker Seacoast Advantage for making it all happen! Tony and his team have made this the most enjoyable home purchase!! They definitely had our familys best interest at heart. I have never dealt with another agent that was so compassionate about his clients and making sure everything is seamless. If I had to rate them on a scale of 1-10 it would be a 100! I highly recommend that if you are looking to either buy or sell a home to give Tony and Laura Ward a call!! You will be so glad you did. They started out as my realtors but ended up more like family. Thanks again Tony, Laura, and Leigh!

ZillowVERIFIED Laura Mathis is knowledgeable, pleasant, hands-on and innovative realtor. We would not want to work with anyone else! She has been consistently available. We needed an outdoor rug and chairs for a small outside deck. Because we were moving, we didnt need to purchase these items. Laura loaned us her personal outdoor furniture, and purchased a rug for us (we reimbursed her for this). It made such a difference.

ZillowVERIFIED Laura Mathis was very helpful in the process of helping our family and our mother sell her townhome in order to relocate to another area. Laura had the task of communicating with multiple family members, assisting with coordinating repairs and cosmetic changes and evaluating the market to determine a competitive list price. Laura suggested, based on her expertise, what was needed to achieve a move-in ready property. These recommendations were reasonable and affordable. As a result of the improvements, there was quick interest in the property and many offers came in above asking price. Laura made the process very easy and doable, during a challenging transition time for our family. We were appreciative of Lauras knowledge, collaboration, expertise, encouragement and resourcefulness in the process of selling our mothers townhome.

ZillowVERIFIED I would highly recommend Laura Mathis to anyone who is seeking the services of a real estate agent in the Wilmington / Brunswick County N.C. area. Lauras knowledge and mastery of all the details and issues related to real estate is nothing short of impressive. Her competency is equally complimented by her energetic and tireless work ethic. Laura successfully located us the exact house of our dreams, in a short amount of time in a very challenging sellers market and under her leadership got us to settlement quickly and problem free. Even after we have moved in Laura has been there for us without reservation, helping us with all of our questions and concerns related to our new neighborhood and new home. I cannot say enough about this great agent and lady !

ZillowVERIFIED Laura made a stressful situation so much easier. She is positive and upbeat. Most importantly she is knowledgeable and professional. Laura knows her area as well as anyone and showed us houses from Leland to Hampstead. Ironically we ended up in downtown Wilmington. A place we would not have considered without Laura's guidance. We can not recommend her highly enough for your sale or purchase. Laura even takes it a step further and recommended and set up a meeting with a contractor for some renovations we were interested in making. Additionally, her contacts with the mortgage company helped us secure a fantastic loan.

ZillowVERIFIED Laura Mathis creatively and professionally sold two properties for me. Both pieces of real estate were developed land, which in actuality is more difficult to sell than established homes. Laura effectively listed and promoted each property on a variety of platforms. She maintained flyers on site and was always available to show each property in great detail, carefully explaining the amenities and features of the community as well as various building options for each lot. Laura has the highest degree of integrity imaginable. She never gives up and represents her client base in the highest standard. If you are looking for a true winner in the industry, Laura is definitely the person to hire as your real estate broker.

ZillowVERIFIED We met Laura while inquiring about a property that she had listed that was of interest to us. Although we never bought that property, we immediately connected with Laura and felt she was a good match for us as we began our relocation to Brunswick County from Wake County. She is super knowledgeable of the area, a great listener, advocates for her clients and showed great flexibility with us while trying to sell a house, buy a house and relocate during a pandemic. We are so appreciative of all that Laura did for our family and consider her a family friend to us now. Thank you Laura!

ZillowVERIFIED After my mother passed away I had the task of selling her house. I live out of state which added to the stress and my personal time constraints. Laura assured me that she was a full-service agent and would do everything she could to help. She was true to her word! I have bought and sold many properties over the years, and have never worked with an agent who went so above and beyond my expectations. She met contractors at the house, recommended attorney's, estate agents and professionally managed the schedule. I could be more thankful for having her as my agent.

ZillowVERIFIED It has been a pleasure working with Laura. Our situation is unique and that didnt daunt her. She worked with us for 8 months, searching to find the right property. When the negotiatons became difficult, she never gave up, but kept the discussions going.until we worked out an agreement. She researched property histories, looking for work permits, called contractors to get estimates, and showed up for the septic inspection. Now that the closing has occurred, Laura has continued to be an important asset in locating local repair services and contractors. I not only found an excellent realtor, but also a friend.
