We chose Laura as our selling agent for our Belmont home given her impressive background of experience selling homes in the Belmont/San Carlos area. Overall we had a good experience, but some things could have gone better. Pros: -The staging company she recommended did a nice job, so the house showed very well. -She checked on the house at the end of everyday to make sure everything was locked up and secure. -Very straightforward and upfront with costs, contracts, etc. -We were able to get a good price for the sale of our home. Cons -Our initial communications were great, but as we got closer to open house weekend and getting our home ready for viewing, communication was at times brief and lacking. -We used her contractors to paint the interior of the house. The quality of the work was not great (e.g. didn't paint behind some of the furniture so when we moved things for staging we had to paint those areas ourselves, closed doors with wet paint so when we opened them the paint stuck and pulled off, etc). -They pressure washing of outside patios/concrete was a bit of a disaster. -The house didn't get listed on the MLS, Redfin, Zillow, etc until the day of our first open house. It would have been nice to have gotten it listed more in advance for better marketing. -There was some confusion about how long the staging furniture had to stay in the house, so we had to scramble to find a place to stay until the staging could be removed.
