ZillowVERIFIED When we had to sell our nice house in Martinsburg, I Googled to identify the top agents in the area. Larry DeMarcos group showed up in the top three. We set out to interview each of the three, but when we walked into Larrys office and met Becky Moore, we immediately knew we had found the perfect agent. I have been involved in over a dozen house transactions in my life, and have a pretty good idea what we all need in an agent. I cant recommend Becky and Larry high enough. Becky has experience, energy and contacts. We followed her advice on what to fix up, repair or replace, and she was spot on. The pre-sale expense we put into the house was exactly right; not too much, not too little. Becky has a stable of reasonably-priced go-to guys to haul away trash, paint, perform all levels of handyman repairs, clean carpets, fix plumbing issues, deal with radon mitigation, etc etc. The photos and actual MLS listing were professionally done, and showed the house well on-line. She knew exactly the right price to ask for the house, and provided great advice during contract negotiations with potential buyers. Beckys professional relationships with other agents and closing attorneys made the sales process utterly painless. And we found her to be totally responsive, be it by telephone, email or text. It was like having her physically by our side during the entire process from the first aEURoehelloaEUR? to the final handshake after closing. ZillowVERIFIED On May 15, 2013, I met with Mr. DeMarco and he agreed to list my home. We were supposed to meet on May 21st to sign the paperwork, but he missed our appoinment. When I reached out, he said he had tried to call me (although I had no missed calls), and we rescheduled for the following day. Once again, he was a no show, and I never received one call or email (to this day I have never heard a word from him). Wish he had at least done me the courtesy of letting me know if he changed his mind about my listing. Seemed like a very nice guy, apparently others have had wonderful experiences, just wanted to share mine.

A friend recommended Larry because he had helped her sell her house, so we called him. From the beginning he was friendly, knowledgeable, and really helpful. He referred us to our mortgage lender (Dana DeGrave with Acacia) who was great also. We were not the easiest buyers to work with and had very particular things we were looking for, with a limited budget. The whole process took way longer than we expected (5 months) and there were many times that we were ready to give up, but Larry kept reminding us "There's always another house". After 4 failed offers, we finally found our house, and we could not be happier with it. Larry, and his associates, worked days, nights, weekends, anything needed to get us our house. There was always someone available if he was out of town. He spent so much time with us over those 5 months, we all became friends, and got to know each other. Larry was recommended by my sister in law who had heard good things about Larry & his team.
