ZillowVERIFIEDWorking with Lamar was an amazing experience from start to finish. He was incredibly responsive and always available to answer any questions we had throughout the home-buying process. Lamar is truly committed to getting you the best deal, and its clear that he fights for his clients every step of the way. He even went above and beyond by showing us homes that were 100 miles away just to meet us in person, which really speaks to his dedication and commitment. Although we ultimately didnt end up purchasing a home this time due to issues with our lender, we are absolutely planning to work with Lamar again in the future. Hes the right person to have on your side if you're looking for your dream home. Highly recommend!

ZillowVERIFIED Substandard experience working with Lamar Thomas to buy/sell properties; He lacks transparency and integrity fails to promptly and directly communicate. He is inconsistent and unreliable. Thomas also lacks real estate processes knowledge. Do not recommend at all.

ZillowVERIFIED Very pleased with Lamar's service. He recently showed me a stellar property in Venice, and although I ended up not purchasing (largely for my own reasons), I was highly impressed with his professionalism, communication and expertise. I would not hesitate to recommend Lamar to anyone considering a real estate professional. Thumbs Up.

ZillowVERIFIED Lamar is an extraordinary realtor who makes sure to go above and beyond throughout all steps in the process. He ensures you understand what is happening for each step and educate you on any of the real estate jargon that can be confusing for a first time buyer. With the difficulty of the current market in rising pricing and low supply, I have changed my options, locations and time spent varying above all in 1.5 years; and throughout it all, Lamar has stayed as a constant and been patient with me each time. I've had some experience with some eager realtors that could care less about you if you don't buy right away. Lamar is different. He wants you to get the right home that you're looking for, and this is rare to have this level of service and compassion.

ZillowVERIFIED Lamar was super-responsive during our home buying journey. We had no idea how much effort went into selling a home and buying a new home. He was always available to get showings lined up for us and would always show up early. Once we were on the market, everything was seamless, and our home sold in a little over 30 days for above the asking price.

ZillowVERIFIED I'm so happy to have come across Lamar and worked with him in selling my home as well as purchasing my new condo. I was going through a rough time myself with a breakup and a divorce but he made sure I was taken care when it comes to real estate. He is very patient, resourceful and on point with his industry knowledge. I ended up getting the home of my dreams at asking price and also sold my home for a profit. I will always reach out to Lamar and recommend him for all your real estate needs. ??

ZillowVERIFIED I am going to start by saying I can't believe Lamar has only been in the real estate business for only 5 years!!! I am a first time home buyer in search of a new home, and everyone knows that real estate is not the easiest business to understand, so when I told him I needed him to explain things as simple as possible, he did just that! He was also VERY patient. I asked him to repeat things over and over and he did so without hesitation. The amount of extensive knowledge he has in this business is remarkable. He blew me away. Our one hour meeting turned into two because not only was I asking a lot of questions, but he also wanted to ensure that I understood everything. I apologized for going over our time limit and he said there was no need to apologize because my questions and concerns were his priority. HE IS AMAZING!! I walked out of that consultation meeting confident that he would have my best interest. I would recommend Lamar to everyone I know. Thank you Lamar!!

ZillowVERIFIED The most amazing realtor we have ever met, my wife and I are very picky and had specific criteria in what we wanted and Lamar went above and beyond to meet our needs and expectations in finding our dream house. He took the time to talk to us and evaluate our personalities to best match our search parameters and knocked it out of the park. I highly recommend Lamar and if I ever buy another house I will definitely be contacting him hands down.

ZillowVERIFIED My wife and I hand nothing but positive interactions with Mr. Thomas. He was always prompt in helping us understand the home buying process and exactly what to expect. He helped us find our new home, a home that checked all of our boxes, wants, and desires. He was always available to field our questions. I have no idea if he had other clients because we always felt like we always had his full attention. He was always on time and even when we arrived early he was still there before us. Choosing Mr. Thomas as your realtor is the first step to success! We couldnt be happier with our experience!

ZillowVERIFIED Lamar has been incredible through this entire experience. He is patient, communicative, responsive, and extremely professional. I am a first-time homebuyer and I am not exaggerating when I say I peppered him constantly with a million questions - his responses were always immediate, friendly, and patient. Even when I found myself frustrated with the process, Lamar always maintained his composure and professionalism. When we had a last minute issue the day before closing (and I was out of the country), he offered to fly me back to California to resolve it - which was incredibly gracious.

ZillowVERIFIED Lamar is a great person but I think he lacks experience. Granted, our transaction was a challenging one but I was consistently disappointed. To put it plainly.. I put one of my homes on the market recently and Ive chosen to have another realtor to represent me. Also, my coworker is in the market for a new home and she asked if I knew a realtor and I told her no. Zillow is requesting I give examples for why I am dissatisfied. Lamar guaranteed that our house would be fumigated and two weeks later told me it would not be fumigated because it wasnt required by the purchase agreement. He suggested I pay for fumigation myself after the close of escrow. It ended up getting fumigated because it was required by our purchase agreement so Lamar didnt actually know what he was talking about. The inspector Lamar chose for us missed many things and we are currently in litigation with that company. Lamar tried to convince me to not have a mold inspector come out after a roof inspector recommended it. It makes no sense for a buyers realtor to ever recommend NOT hiring a professional to inspect the home. I insisted on hiring a mold inspection and mold was found. Lamars team consistently spelled my last name wrong. We received the first American home warranty information packet in the mail after then close of escrow and my name was still spelled wrong. I think I told Lamar 10+ Times that my name was spelled wrong and every time I received a DocuSign my name was spelled wrong. Ridiculous. Lamar told me I could no longer request inspections of the home because our inspection contingency time period was over when it wasnt. I had to do the math for Lamar that our contingency period had 2 days left. I'm not sure why he couldnt figure that math out on his own. Lamar did his own visual inspection of the property per his contractual responsibilities and missed evidence of all 8 roof leaks. I ended up hiring another Realtor to offer advice because Lamar would consistently make up answers that either made no sense or just werent true. Examples include his recommendation to aEURoeoffer more than asking price and Ill negotiate the price down after the inspectionaEUR?. After the inspection he said aEURoewell the home is already priced to account for the leaking roof, termite damage, and dangerous electrical work so theres no room for negotiationaEUR?. I never felt like Lamar was representing my best interests.

ZillowVERIFIED If youre a first time home buyer like myself I definitely would recommend Lamar to help you with the whole process. He showed me a property the same day I saw the posting. After reaching out to the listing agent I was told I wouldnt be able to buy in this community. I was almost about to give up and rent an apartment. But on a follow up call Lamar said there was another property in the same location. He is very knowledgeable about the market and any questions I had he answered that same day. We started escrow after the property was listed for only a week! Can you believe that? Now I have my first home.
