We found that Lacey had unique insights about the McMinnville market that helped us get the best price possible for our home. We were especially impressed with her openness and ability to help us see not only the strong points of our property, but also understand where we needed to make small improvements to make the house show better. We were extremely impressed with the sales package she put together, including a traditional photo series, a 3-D video walk-through, a wire-frame floor plan, and many extras. We entered the market too late in the spring to get the best selling season, but she persisted with us, encouraging us when things seemed slow. She setup a group text chat that was available 24/7. When we had a question, there was an answer within minutes during the day, and first thing in the morning if it was late at night. These communications helped keep us going when things in the market were slow. Then one day - bam - there were 3 offers in two days. We closed today, just a month after those offers. Her presence while we signed the papers wasn't necessary, but it really gave us a good feeling that someone had our back when we were confronted with so much unfamiliar paperwork. Due to our life circumstances of having a newborn and an unexpected cross country move we needed to do as inexpensively as possible; we needed to purchase our first home in McMinnville, Oregon while we were living in ConnecticutaEUR|. site unseen.The first time we would actually see the house we purchased was when we were turning the key and moving in. Needless to say we were incredibly stressed and had kind of resigned ourselves to another year of renting. We desperately needed realtors we could trust, so reached out to some friends in the area asking if they knew anyone. To our eternal delight they gave us Lauren and Lacey. From the beginning Lauren and Lacey were complete masters of our many disasters. They met with us for an initial consultation, taking the time to go over the many details and hoops of the home-buying process which was incredibly helpful as first time homebuyers. Lauren was our primary contact and once our finances were all sorted they got to work. We perused listings and they gave us the inside scoop on everything, neighbors, area, and schools. When we found a home we liked they walked us through with video and checked on every little detail. They were incredibly gracious with us when we were able to send our parents along for viewings. They were pros negotiating with the sellers and finding us every type of contractor under the sun to get repairs/ updates completed before move in. Lauren at one point was basically my therapist when our bank decided to have a hyper picky underwriter at the last minute. They had contingency plan after contingency plan and assured us, if this is the home you wanna buy we are gonna make it happen. And they did! We have been living in our amazing home for a year and a half; it still feels like a life hurdle I never really thought wed achieve. I joked with my husband all the time how strange it was to have actual superheroes as realtors. Fast forward a year and a half and they literally still check in on us. If you have no amazing friends in the area to tell you who to trust, you can take this recommendation from me. Therefore, we made it our goal to find a better agent when we decided to sell that home and buy our next McMinnville home. We happened to meet Lacey at an open house showing. There we were impressed by her local knowledge, and by her obvious professionalism, which still allowed her sweet persona to shine through. I could go on and on, but I'll just highlight a few of her outstanding qualities. She met with us several times, brought printouts of local market comparisons and discussed them in detail. To her credit, Lacey has an amazing team that works well together for every aspect of a sale or purchase. When she had to be out of town briefly, Lauren, Lacey's very competent partner was ready to step in for whatever was needed. Others on her team provided regular timelines and updates for every aspect of our sale and next purchase. Lacey or a team member always responded rapidly to all our phone and text requests. For example, since we wanted to move very quickly, she provided the name of a landscaper she uses, who could start SOON with getting the yard in top condition. Lacey hustled to get our home to the online MLS site. Within a week, she had arranged for online MLS house photos, aerial drone photos, and she narrated a home informational video. All this helped us to feel comfortable that we could get the price we needed, quickly so we could purchase our new home across town. As part of what I call "her sale package", Lacey pays for professional cleaning right before the showing: how cool is that?! During both the sale of our home and the purchase of another home, Lacey always attended with us at the escrow company, saying, "Just in case you have any questions". She placed a new welcome mat at our new home and even brought us a large upscale housewarming gift basket with thank you note. Lacey is obviously the kind of person who likes to have good relations with everyone she meets, and she is quite successful with this goal. We were initially a bit reserved because we didn't know them, but decided to trust them to be our agents as well. ZillowVERIFIED Best selling agent we could imagine. Lacey began way before we put the house on the market giving us ideas of suggested upgrades, paint colors, flooring and more. When we were ready to put the house on the market she gave suggestions for staging. Once the house was put on the market she accessed a broad range of media to publicize the listing. In just a couple of days we received a fair cash offer which we accepted. Throughout the entire process Lacey and her team were accessable, helpful, encouraging and knowledgeable.
