I was less than flexible, because,I have somewhat of a grip on selling a home and wasn't going to compromise. I was going to go FSBO, but logistics wouldn't allow it, so I hired a broker. Not just any broker.... I loved my home when I first saw it from across the street. It was a dump, but no one was going to talk me out of it, including my broker, Lucy Vallowe, Lacey's mother. I adored her and she couldn't have tried harder to talk me out of it, but my stubborness prevailed. I made an offer that day, 23 yrs ago.Connie Kappert (the owner/broker of the REMAX office where Lacey & Brent Dore hang their licences) is a lifelong friend of mine, and would've been my first choice of a broker. But the sentimentality of having the sweet daughter of the sweet broker who sold the home to me was impossible to resist.With preparing to move to another state, I was on a critical deadline. Lacey had all the contacts I needed to finish my home with quality and timely work. It was as smoothe as silk, getting it all done, with her network of professionals.Lacey is a consumate professional who understands the market, is loyal to the ethics of which she is professionally and legally bound, cheerful, diplomatic and optimistic to the point of being contagious and thoroughly empathetic to all parties. That was very important to me, as I've witnessed the behind the scenes, self serving many agents displayed, while negotiating, which is why I walked away from brokerage. Nobody-buyer or seller deserves to be compromised or marginalized in a broker's quest for another notch in their belt, and Lacey would never be a party to those goings on. 2021* With this crazy market, Lacey is amazing and really goes above and beyond! I looked for a house in 3 different states. Dealt with mutliple different realtors who were also just as busy as Lacey. But the house we wanted was being sold through them, and when trusted people advised us to choose a realtor in spite of our hesitation, we decided to go with Lacey and Brent because they had a great vibe when they showed us the house that we'd end up buying. They were down-to-earth, personable, and kind. They were patient, and also reminded us of our own relationship (we're a young married couple as well), so we gave them our trust, and things have turned out great with them. We knew nothing about buying a house, and Lacey and Brent worked with us very patiently and were very easy to get a hold of when we had questions or concerns. The mortgage lender we originally chose, really let us down, and throughout that process of discovery, Lacey and Brent stood by us and eventually seemed to hint that maybe we didn't have the best choice of lender. We took their subtle hint and looked into a lender they recommended, and had bought their own house through recently. That new lender proved to be just as great as Brent and Lacey, and we finally closed on our house in good shape. I could go on and on about how helpful they have been to us. Plus, the house we bought had a very low price, so we know that we were not getting special treatment for any reason other than it's just how they do business. They sell other, more equisite homes that get the same type of attention when being listed, if you just take a look at their current listings.In conclusion, Brent and Lacey really saved us in multiple ways, and now we know who to recommend to anyone, whether they are selling or buying. We are eternally grateful for the attention of this outstanding realtor couple. They truly care!!!

I didn't know that just one agent could show any home you are interested in, initially I thought you needed to contact only the listing agent/agency. Immediately there seemed to be a "connection" where as she understood what I wanted. I needed a home w/no stairs and I wanted a home that would require little/no repair in a safe neighborhood. Being an older woman with limited finances, these things are important to me. Lacey also set me up with my loan officer. I ended up w/my dream home. It is a foreclosure that had been rehabbed and got it for half of what it sold for in 2008. At my age, this is the last home I will ever have and know it fits me perfectly. I can't find anything to complain about (miracle for me). Lacey Dore has gone above and beyond what one might expect from a real estate agent. She's been available whenever I needed her and at times has held my hand and kept the nerves down for me. She's explained everything to me in simple to understand terms.
