ZillowVERIFIED My wife and I were picky and poor buyers. Probably not a typical realtors dream client! Multiple trusted friends recommended Kurt, in part because of his superb feel for the market, so we asked him to be our agent. He showed us a number of houses and helped us make a few offers, but we ended up outbid and couldnt compete. Each time he was able to get a great feel from the other side for what it would take for our offer to be accepted, but we just didnt have enough money to get the kind of house we wanted. We never felt any pressure from him along the way. Then the pandemic hit, the market went crazy, and we sat on the sidelines for three years. Finally, a fixer-upper appeared that seemed like a possibility, and we made an offer. For many reasons, this particular house was an extremely complex deal to close. Kurt navigated each hurdle with tremendous understanding and diplomacy, and he got the deal done! He is a insightful, courteous, and a skilled negotiator, and we felt at peace relying on his guidance throughout. Jason, who works with him, was ultra responsive, very knowledgeable, and on top of every detail. They were both never too busy to give us the full explanation each step along the way. Our sale would not have been possible without the assistance of our agent, Kurt Congdon, and the entire Coldwell Banker team. Kurt and the buyer s agent jointly assumed the costs that we incurred when the buyer was unable to close escrow on the date stipulated in the contract. She requested a postponement, which added costs to us beyond the original contract. These costs should have been the buyer s responsibility. Kurt and the buyer s agent, in order fro conclude the sale, agreed to split the cost. Also, Jason Moore, Kurt s office manager, was extremely helpful in explaining to the buyer s agent the provisos of the contract as to what was included in the sale and what was not.
