Our home had been in our family since the 1950s and was constructed in 1906. The home was in its original condition with minor upgrades necessitated over the last 70 years. There had been no major upgrades performed on the home. The home was specially designated as a aEUR~Historic Village that was part of a land grant that went back to the late 1600s. As such, it was listed as original property that had no major updates since it was built at the turn of the previous century. It was truly a unique historical property. The realtor we needed was someone who understood the selling nuances of our type of property, aEUR~construction before the year 1936, without alterations since 1959, and numerous restrictions designated to aEUR~Historic Village Property. When Kristin Bodkin was interviewed, it was immediately obvious she understood the type of property we would be selling and the market that would be interested in this type home.
