About Korrie Hicks

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I have watched the Portland-Vancouver area grow into a vibrant and friendly community that I proudly call home. This area draws people from around the country to add to the region's home-grown warmth and diversity. It's no wonder so many people wish to call this area home. Whether you are buying or selling in this area, my expertise will guide you through the ins and outs of the process. I hold a Bachelors in Organization Leadership and a Masters in Public Administration. Prior to real estate, I was an IT project manager; I understand the importance of managing timelines, attention to detail, and effective negotiations, all of which are necessary skills any great real estate agent needs in their tool bag. I bring a rock star agent superpower. I really do work hard to go the extra mile for my clients. You'll see me with a paintbrush and roller to paint a wall or two, stage your home using furnishings and props I have assembled over the years, or jump in and coordinate the moving crew to get you to your new home. I'm not your stereotypical agent. I'm not high-pressure or selfish. I'm honest, caring, always bring a smile, and take pride in what I do. I drive a peach Jeep & love to wear heels (and jump in them...there is a good story here - ask me about it). I love training for triathlons, which sometimes means if you call on me to coordinate a last-minute showing, there is a chance I will show up with my training gear on. If my clients don't say I have gone above and beyond, I haven't done my job. I live and breathe that motto. When I have a spare moment, I spend my time enjoying the beautiful vistas of the Pacific Northwest, hiking, and biking around the Portland metro area. Swimming and weightlifting in my community gyms or spending quality time with my family, friends, and trusted pup.

As first time homebuyers, my wife and I stepped into the buying process with very limited knowledge. We've only heard through stories from our friends about how involved/exhausting their own experiences were. However, Korrie patiently answered all of our questions and made our process an absolute breeze. We felt like we were given clear options each step of the way, Korrie really advocated for us on our behalf, and in the end helped us make a deal we were very happy with. Korrie is so nice, professional and very helpful. We were first time homebuyers and she helped us get creative with our offers offers to help separate us from other potential buyers. She was very patient and showed us a lot of different houses throughout the Portland area for over a year until we found the one that we wanted.
