My experience with Kimberley was not positive. Kimberley listed a home for me that was priced competitively, but received little interest, mostly due to the market it was in. I took the hit of reducing the price of the property several times until it was well below the market average. Still, with little interest, I urged Kimberley to do an open house on the unit. She pushed back, telling me it would be a waste of time. I spent a great deal of time and energy convincing her to do an open house. The home was a short term vacation rental home. I had to coach Kimberley on how to work with interested buyers for scheduling showings around the rental schedule and teach her strategies on how we could make time in the rental schedule for those showings. I was surprised that those strategies were unknown to her. After we did the open house, I received an offer from a hesitant buyer. Kimberley demonstrated poor negotiation skills by pushing back on my decisions to not respond to low ball counteroffers; a strategy that ended up working and leading to an eventual sale. Throughout the process, I did not often feel that Kimberley had my best interests in mind. I found her to be highly argumentative, unwilling to do tasks asked of her, and unable to take constructive feedback. At some point, communication broke down so much, I had to speak directly with the buyer agent to prevent the loss of the sale. I would describe my experience with Kimberley by stating that I sold my home despite her presence, not because of it. I feel my home was sold behind schedule and under its market value. If you are an experienced home buyer or seller, I would not recommend working with Kimberley.
