My path into real estate began early. My beloved grandmother was a successful real estate broker in Santa Barbara, CA, at a time when few women held prominent careers in the industry. I grew up admiring her professionalism and intelligence. My grandparents were also real estate investors, teaching the value of property ownership. My first official job was at a title company, where I started in the title plant learning about title searches, then advanced into escrow, first as a secretary and later as an escrow officer. That experience gave me a strong appreciation for how real estate works. I later spent 20 years working alongside my husband in his retail flooring business, supporting REALTORS® and their clients as they prepared homes for sale or personalized their homes after purchase. I’ve always loved touring properties, studying architecture, and understanding how design and condition influence value. I truly love this work and feel lucky to be in this profession.

I also spent many years in the flooring and home-prep industry, which helps me advise sellers on smart, cost-effective improvements that add real value and help buyers accurately assess a home’s condition.
