ZillowVERIFIED I would not recommend working with Kim Devlin. I spent considerable time working with Kim and providing very specific criteria for the home I was looking for. My budget was clear, my priorities were clear, and I was willing to make reasonable compromises. I was also doing my own research and using online tools to identify properties that I wanted her to investigate further. Instead of treating that as part of the process of working with an informed buyer, I increasingly felt like I was having to defend my search criteria and justify why I was questioning information or properties. Ultimately, Kim decided that she did not want to continue representing me because she felt there was a lack of trust and that she was spending too much time addressing information I had found through AI. That was her decision, and she is certainly entitled to make it. What I find disappointing is that after all the time I invested working with her, the relationship ended with her essentially telling me that my expectations were unrealistic rather than continuing to look for opportunities within my stated budget. I was never asking her to guarantee that a property meeting every criterion existed. I was asking her to help me find one, negotiate when appropriate, and provide her professional opinion when something was worth pursuing. I respect that she decided we werent a good fit. However, based on my experience, I would choose a different agent.

Being out of state, I sent her an email asking a question regarding new homes in her area and she answered me quickly. Three months later when we arrive in Florida I called Kim and she remembered me and our short communication months earlier. I let her know we were in town for a few days and asked her if you could assist us in viewing homes in the area. Within 1/2 hour she had emailed several houses/areas for us to checkout. About a month after meeting her at the open house decided to relist my home. She was professional, prompt, and confident she would sell the house. Also realistic as to the market and price point. Always available to show the house, incredible at following up with interested people. Sold the house less than a month on the market - helped me with the negotiation on my next property and we were able to close with help from my mortgage company inside of 3 weeks!!! You will be hard pressed to find a more professional or ethical person to work with.
