With a 10 hour time difference, as an additional obstacle, Kim made the process very easy for us, going through the negotiations, signing the documents, and taking it through the closing. Her expert knowledge of the local neighborhood and the current market situation, was a great help in making the decisions that had to be made quickly. Her follow-through after the sale was also great, especially being that we were not from California. She helped with many of the post sale issues when many other agents might have walked away. ZillowVERIFIED My husband and I purchased our first home in La Jolla and we couldnt have done it without Kim. As first-time home buyers, we relied on Kims expertise to close the deal in todays highly competitive market and I cannot recommend her as a partner enough. Kim was very creative in her negotiation skills, knowing how to find attributes that the seller cared about and mix that with attributes we were more flexible on to come to the best agreement, without going over the price that we were comfortable meeting. From a style perspective, Kim never pressured us to go higher than we were comfortable, always explained the pros/cons of various terms & conditions for the sale, and then let us choose. We felt we could be entirely truthful with her because she was entirely on our side, trying to find the right home for us - not just trying to close on anything. She was also immediately responsive and saw *a lot* of houses with us because we were very careful buyers. She never seemed to lose steam despite how many months she spent searching with. We hugely appreciated that she didnt just walk away once the deal had happened - she helped us through each piece of the inspections, using her deep connections in the area to bring in very talented folks for immediate work. ZillowVERIFIED My wife and I linked up with Kim almost by accident and we are extremely happy we did. We live in London and were fantasizing via Zillow on where in the world we should retire. We noticed an interesting property in La Jolla and asked some general questions by email of the broker listed for house who was Kim. She was very honest and quickly came to the conclusion that the property we had seen was not a good fit for us. She took the time to describe the different neighbourhoods in La Jolla and what was good and bad about each. Armed with this new information, we noticed another property online that felt perfect. Kim was immediately excited by our choice which happened to be very close to where she lives. In a matter of hours and from eight time zones away, we decided to take the plunge. Kim walked us through the process remotely and provided sage advice regarding our offer. Despite another party being at an advanced stage of negotiation, we managed to get a counter offer from the seller which we accepted. Kim then really took over and arranged the home, sewer and termite inspection for us and kept us fully in the loop via video clips she personally recorded. She met the neighbours, the current tenants and the architect who had worked on a potential remodel to give us a complete picture of the property. The closing occurred without a hitch and Kim has continued to help out on utilities, insurance and other general enquiries well beyond what is expected of her as a broker. Hopefully the pandemic travel restrictions will ease soon and we will get a chance to meet her and our new home in person!

She contacted me very promptly & we made an appointment to see the property. She came prepared to show me that property and others in the area that fit my needs. I was pleased that she stayed with the parameters I gave her, unlike some realtors who will show you properties completely unlike your stated perameters. She went above and beyond, even taking it on herself to approach a neighbor about trimming a tree that was encroaching on my little view...a delicate situation, for sure. Not only did she negotiate getting the tree trimmed, I think she and the trees owners became friends for life! Now thats a gift! Shes a lifetime resident of San Diego, knows just about everyone and everything in the area.
