    About Kerry Ann Douglas

Proudly representing buyers and sellers across Southeastern Wisconsin for 26 years, I'm an Accredited Buyer's Representative, Certified Distressed Property Expert, Five Star Professional (as seen in Milwaukee Magazine), and a proud member of the RE/MAX Hall of Fame. I genuinely love helping people find new homes and guiding them through the buying and selling process with clarity and confidence. My approach is simple and honest--I'll tell you how it is, not just what you want to hear, and I don't walk away when a transaction gets challenging. Outside of real estate, you'll find me playing volleyball, enjoying brunch, or catching live concerts. My life may look a little busy--but when it comes to your biggest financial investment, I make sure everything is handled with care, strategy, and calm expertise.

    Answered Questions

    Home inspection with snow?

Typically in Wisconsin home inspections are performed after an offer is accepted. You certainly can propose a clause in your offer via an amendment, but the seller would need to agree to that change (amendment) to the terms of your offer.

i plan to buy a house in Florida in cash?

Hi Mercedes. I am not licensed in FL, but if you are paying cash I do not have a reason on why you could not purchase the property in your name only. Best to reach out to an agent or attorney licensed in FL.

Is 2026 a good year to sell a home?

Hi Cheryl. Trying to time the market is never a good idea. Some markets have begun to shift and prices are stabilizing or beginning to decrease. Which means if the Topeka market is doing this you may have already missed your prime market. Sell when you are ready to sell. That is the best time. Stay up to date with what your market is doing with your trusted local real estate agent.

I am thinking about refinancingy home ?

You will have to have the land deeded to your name in order to sell it or take a loan out against it. Speak with your trusted loan officer.
